Beautifully maintained historic hotel, fabulous facilities and location.
Pros:

Excellent location on the edge of the old town. Beautifully maintained hotel, parts of which are from the 16th century, absolutely spotless and with sumptuous decor. Outdoor pool across the road in beautiful gardens, indoor pool and spa downstairs (which, unbelievably, I had to myself for over an hour..) Robe, slippers, bag etc provided for when using these facilities. Extensive breakfast choice. Breakfast area, restaurant, bar all beautifully decorated. Staff all excellent and keen to help - I arrived before check-in time and this was no problem.

Cons:

The only negative is that I couldn't open my bedroom window for some air flow, and there wasn't any AC, so the room was quite hot in the morning with the sun on it. Obviously, this may not be true of other rooms!

Herrliches Hotel mit riesigem Garten.
Pros:

Ein wunderschönes Hotel, das bis auf das Jahr 1551 zurückgeht. Traumhaft schön ist der riesige Park mit alten Bäumen, Obstplantagen, Pool und Tennisplatz. Dir vielen Blumen und blühenden Bäume duften herrlich. Die Lage ist nah an der Altstadt. Wir haben in der dazugehörigen Villa im Park gewohnt, dort gibt es zwar einen Fahrstuhl, aber der hält nur an den Treppen zwischen den Etagen. Das war beschwerlich mit dem Gepäck, aber man konnte sich Hilfe holen.
