Un hotel muy bonito, con un servicio excelente, y cuando ponen Gourmet en el eslogan lo dicen en serio, el desayuno es delicioso lo voy a soñar, café de especialidad y todo de altísimo calidad, la cena es muy buena también.

Cons:

Sé que es una zona donde normalmente no hace calor pero aire acondicionado o un minisplit en el cuarto hubiera sido muy agradable.

Hotel molto bello in una posizione panoramica che permette di godere di una vista fantastica su Ortisei e le montagne circostanti. Ottima colazione, staff cordiale e disponibile. Camera pulita e confortevole. Presenza di garage per l'auto ed è anche possibile avere un servizio navetta incluso per il centro di Ortisei. Lo consiglio sicuramente.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole all’Hotel Grien. Ciò che abbiamo apprezzato più di tutto è stata la straordinaria gentilezza e disponibilità dei proprietari e di tutto lo staff, sempre attenti e accoglienti.

L’hotel gode inoltre di una splendida vista su Ortisei, sul Sassolungo e sul Gruppo del Sella, un panorama davvero bellissimo. Molto comodo anche il servizio navetta, che permette di raggiungere facilmente i principali impianti di Ortisei.

Un altro punto di forza è la bellissima area spa, perfetta per rilassarsi dopo una giornata in montagna, così come la cucina, ottima e molto curata.

In generale, ciò che ci ha colpito è la grande attenzione e accuratezza in ogni aspetto, dalla pulizia al servizio, dalla cucina alla cura degli ambienti. Una qualità che, insieme alla cordialità dei proprietari e di tutto il team, rende il soggiorno davvero speciale.

The Grien lives up to its reputation!
Pros:

All our meals at this boutique gourmet hotel were exceptional. Breakfast menu options were extensive, and the three course dinner menu's prepared each day by their excellent chef and staff were a delightful way to end each day's unforgettable motorcycle experience in the Dolomites. Their staff is well trained and makes every interaction a pleasure. And this hotel's setting, higher up on the hillside and overlooking the Ortisei valley was simply magical.

Cons:

Our nine day visit coincided with one of those "heat domes" that can rest over regions of Europe during the warmer summer months. Since those extreme higher temperatures are rare in the Dolomites, the hotel's rooms are not air conditioned. We really could've used that cooling relief on this occasion, and were it not for the tower fans that the hotel provided, we would have had to endure a rather unpleasant stay. Keeping the air moving in our rooms was just enough relief to allow for a decent night's rest! Word to the wise: consider this lovely hotel option in either June or after the middle of September.
