While the hotel has some positive aspects, I was disappointed that several elements did not meet the standards I would expect from a four-star property

La couette, le matelas, le balcon, les transats dehors avec superbe vue sur la montagne.
Accueil très froid, voire rigide. Petit déjeuner et dîner placé (je ne doute pas que cela facilite la logistique de l’hôtel, mais les clients ne sont pas des produits à parquer). Menu obligatoire pour le dîner et au delà de 20h30 pas de salut, sauf à vouloir vous faire la descente et la remontée (voir ci-dessous). Hôtel impersonnel. Petit déjeuner passable pas du niveau de standing auquel l’hôtel prétend - œufs brouillés secs et trop salés. Emplacement en haut d’une importante dénivelée- il y a un bus local 6 par jour, aucun entre 11h et 15h30 le week end et aucun après 18h toute la semaine. Après 6h de randonnée devoir se faire une importante dénivelée sur le bitume est la dernière chose dont on ait envie (et ne parlons pas des personnes pour lequel cet effort physique est difficile du fait de leur âge ou de leur forme). N’imaginez pas prendre votre voiture, les parkings en ville sont hors de prix. Pas de machine à café dans la chambre. Service de chambre à revoir : cheveux dans la douche et rouleau de papier toilette non remplacé alors qu’il était proche de la fin (heureusement qu’un randonneur a toujours du PQ avec lui). Wifi médiocre. Peu de pression dans la douche. L’hôtel se prétend de grand standing mais en est très loin sans avoir le charme d’un hôtel plus familial.

Väldigt trevlig personal med ägaren på plats. Hotellet verkade vara nyrenoverat och i mycket bra skick. Jättefin spaanläggning och en bra restaurang med bra frukost och middag. Kan rekommendera boendet.
You can really tell a difference when you stay at a family-owned hotel versus a corporate one. It was lovely to to be greeted daily by the family at the lobby/reception area. The breakfast was also delicious and there were various options. We also loved the pool and the sauna area, which was spacious and always very clean. We could really switch off at this place while enjoying the beautiful view from our balcony.
The only thing would be some clear instructions om how to turn on the A/C (if there was one). We didn’t mind to sleep with the window open, however, and we’d happily come back again.

Lång backe för att gå ned till staden och äta på annan restaurang, och sedan tillbaka efter middagen :-)
