Wir können das Hotel mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen & kommen gerne wieder

Tolle Lage zum Erkunden der Stadt, zentral & doch in verkehrsberuhigter Straße, nicht laut

Cons:

Das Zimmer hätte eine Spur größer sein können.
Der Mechanismus zum Öffnen der Kastentüre war etwas rätselhaft (kaputt?)

Een geweldig hotel voor een prima verblijf in Triëste
Pros:

Het hotel, receptie en personeel restaurant. Je was echt een gewaardeerde gast. Geen vraag was te veel en alle tijd die nodig was om iets uit te leggen of op te zoeken. Het al la carte ontbijt was helemaal prima, werd keurig uitgeserveerd.

Alles was prima.

Convenient to Cruise Terminal!
Pros:

The staff are very friendly and checkin was quick and easy. Our stay included a full breakfast (see photos). There is a breakfast continental buffet and food to order - both included with the breakfast. There are some premium options for a small fee; but you will get plenty with the free portions. The bacon was exceptional. The reception desk is a bit hidden; when entering it’s in a small alcove to your right. The room was very comfortable with a king size bed slightly firm which seems to be common for European hotels. Also as typical, you need to insert your room key (or any plastic card) to turn the lights /power on to the room. Expect it to be slightly warm (summer) when entering the room but it will cool off quickly once you insert the card upon entering the room. There is a stock mini fridge. A natural (non friz) bottle of water is provided along with coffee and tea with a hot water maker. Plenty of storage for hanging items and suitcase storage. As I have found with most Italian hotels, it is hard to find English speaking channels in the TV but they are there. But get out and enjoy the streets rather than TV! Lots of restaurants and shops. Our favorite ristorante was Caffe Eppinger (see separate review) and for Gelato (according to a local - best in the area is Zampollis - and we agree! (see separate review). Very convenient and comfortable

Good but feels a bit overpriced at €200+ for what you get.
Pros:

The location is convenient, 15 minutes on foot from the train station, which was ok for our overnight stay between trains. Check-in was quick.

While the main street is quite noisy, the hotel's specific location on a pedestrian section is quieter.
The bathroom appeared freshly renovated, which was a nice. The breakfast food itself was decent quality.

Cons:

Several small issues. The soundproofing is not perfect, you can hear everything happening in the corridor as if it's happening in your room. With the windows closed it was reasonably quiet from outside, but corridor noise required earplugs.

The air conditioning didn't work. We tried adjusting it but got no response, unclear but seems like it's seasonal. The room stayed at 24°C when we normally sleep at 19-20°C, making it a bit uncomfortable.

The breakfast service felt like artificial upselling. Instead of a buffet, you order from a menu and wait for servers creating the illusion of restaurant service for basic items like scrambled eggs with potato patties. A buffet would be faster and more practical?

The pillows were oddly thin, both of them making it unclear whether to use one or two.
