Every thing
Nothing but shame that the lift was modernised!
Ignore the name, Hotel Canada is old fashioned Italian. We'd stayed here previously many years ago and were very pleased to find that not much had changed. It's been family owned for three generations.
It's about 10 minutes walk from Termini railway station and two minutes from a Metro. The Baths of Diocletian are also about 10 minutes walk, and if you feel energetic most of the major sights are walkable, but Vatican, St Peter's, Castel Saint Angelo, and Trastevere on the other side of the river are a bit far.
Canada is not a big fancy hotel. There's a small bar, breakfast room, and comfortable lounge area. There is no restaurant for evening meals, but there are plenty of decent places (Bramble is good) just minutes walk away. Guest bedrooms have high ceilings, are comfortable, old fashioned in a nice way, and absolutely adequate. There is good TV with some English channels. Good WiFi. Kettle with tea/coffee, and USB charging points. Although some areas around Termini station have a reputation for being a bit dodgy, we were never uncomfortable and the hotel area is safe.
The hotel staff are great and incredibly helpful. We booked as part of a package with British Airways so cannot comment much on prices, but what we paid for the flight+hotel package seemed reasonable for a central hotel in a major capital city, particularly when compared to London.
Breakfast is a buffet, with fruit, ham, cheese, lots of bread and delicious pastries, and some hot items. No big English fry up, but that's fine with me.
Overall we were very happy. We've stayed here previously and would absolutely stay here again.
My only negative is that the floors are tiled. If guests in nearby rooms leave early with wheeled luggage, they can be quite noisy. But not a huge issue for us.
Modern, fully equipped room in nicely renovated building with historic elements; exceptional breakfast with broad selection including freshly made homemade dishes and cakes;

An excellent little hotel in the centre of Rome. We loved everything about it. The staff, our room, the décor, the breakfast - everything was just perfect. A charming boutique hotel! We look forward to a return visit.
Roma Termini Tren İstasyonuna yakın olmak istiyorsanız konumu gayet iyi; istasyona 10 dakika yürüne mesafesinde. Kent Merkezine yine tren istasyonundan, metro kullanarak ulaşabilirsiniz.
Comfort Queen Oda’da kaldım. Yatak rahattı. Oda ısısı iyiydi. Oda ve otel temizdi. Kahvaltı iyiydi. Otel genelinde görev yapan personelin özeni, ilgisi ve konukseverliği yüksekti.
Kahvaltıda kahve kalitesi daha iyi olabilir
The staff, who were cheerful, professional and helpful. The location, blocks from Termini station for easy access to trains. The breakfast spread was fresh, varied, and delicious. The room was large, decorated nicely, and had a comfortable bed and other furniture. Check-in, check-out, and holding our bags both before and after these tasks was simple and quick. The room was quiet with "soundproof" windows. For us, the value we received was well worth the price.
If one had a gripe it would be that the facility has only two 3-person elevators. The demand sometimes outpaced their availability.
Our room was beautiful and of a much higher standard than I anticipated.
The hotel is five minutes walk from Termini so ideal if you arrive or leave by train.
We stayed for one night, prior to getting our flight back home, and we had a terrible night’s sleep. We discovered at 5.30am that the noise was coming from the fridge in the room. As we we had to get up just after 6am this was not good! When we reported it at the desk, we were told another customer had also complained.
My wife and I stayed here whilst in Rome for the Italy v Scotland Six Nations game.
It’s an impressive building with large rooms decorated with tasteful classic paintings, murals and furniture. Our bathroom was large with modern rainfall shower and like the bedroom, was spotlessly clean.
Very friendly reception and bar/breakfast room staff added to a great ambience throughout our stay.
Breakfast consisted of a wide choice of continental food. We enjoyed a few drinks at the small bar which at times was busy but staff coped well. Drinks were reasonably priced which was a pleasant surprise compared to other hotels we have used in Rome.
Overall, we enjoyed a great stay at Hotel Canada and will have no hesitation in staying there again.

This hotel was brilliant. Large rooms, really comfy beds, luxurious decor, super-friendly staff, central location, and plentiful breakfast. Great value for money, would definitely recommend
