Cons:

I was very disappointed with my stay at Hotel Kent in Rome.

The biggest concern was the complete lack of care and attention to guests’ belongings. After checking in, we left our luggage with the hotel staff, who told us they would bring it to our room. We returned around 7–8 PM after spending the entire day sightseeing, only to discover that our luggage was missing. When we contacted reception, they found that our bags had been placed in a different guest’s room across the hall. Our belongings had been left in a stranger’s room for hours, creating a serious security risk. Fortunately, nothing was stolen, but this level of negligence is unacceptable.

The second major issue occurred on our second night. We returned to the hotel after 11 PM and found that all of our used towels had been removed during housekeeping, but no clean towels had been provided. Since reception closes at 11 PM, we called the emergency contact number given to us at check-in. The person on the phone was unhelpful and simply told us to look for towels ourselves in a cupboard that did not exist. After confirming that there were no accessible towels available, we were told that nothing could be done until the morning.

After walking around Rome from early morning until late at night in the summer heat, we wanted nothing more than to take a shower before going to bed. Instead, we had no towels at all and were forced to go to sleep without properly washing or drying ourselves. What made the situation even more frustrating was that no meaningful assistance was provided the following morning either.

Housekeeping was also careless with personal belongings. Several of my personal items were moved to strange locations around the room. For example, I found my face-cleansing foam hidden underneath the sink behind the bin. There was no reason for my belongings to be handled this way.

Pros:

Very convenient. I'm a runner so the proximity to Villa Borghese was a plus.

Cons:

Room was pretty dark, at the back of the hotel, not much daylight. That didn't matter so much as I was out a lot.

Letto molto comodo, posizione perfetta per i miei impegni, personale gentilissimo e sempre pronto a venire incontro alle

La struttura è vecchia e purtroppo si vede. Le foto possono un po ingannare in questo senso (ma il prezzo basso vista la zona compensa bene questo limite)

Struttura in buone condizioni, pulita e confortevole. Situata in un luogo centrale eppure molto tranquillo (di fronte al MACRO). Ottimi i collegamenti
