Perfect stay at Hotel Scalinata di Spagna! Everything was perfect! The room was beautiful, with lovely furniture and very comfortable bedding. Every day we received four bottles of fresh water. The breakfast was very good and offered a beautiful view. The staff is smiling, kind, and very helpful. The location is fantastic — we were able to do everything on foot, with the Trevi Fountain only 10 minutes away! Amazing, I absolutely recommend it! An authentic hotel full of charm. 😊
Tolle Lage direkt am oberen Ende der Spanischen Treppe. Sehr schöne Zimmer und sehr freundliches Personal.

Hotel Scalinata di spagna is a lovely quiet quaint hotel, just on the top of the Spanish Steps, Massimo met us on arrival, speaks great English happy man, we stayed in room 11, towels, bed cleaned every day, the maids even folded my PJs which I was very happy with, it’s v central, free breakfast & the girls serving are so so lovely, don’t read any nonsense negative stuff about this hotel, it is just what you need in Rome
Die Lage war phänomenal, die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten waren fußläufig erreichbar und für weiter weg, war die Metrostation gleich um die Ecke. Besonders geschätzt haben wir auch die Nähe zum Park um zwischendurch mal Luft und "Ruhe" zu tanken.
Das Hotel selber war blitzsauber, das Frühstück war gut, das Personal stets sehr freundlich und offen für alle Fragen.
Wir würden dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen und nochmal buchen

Une situation idéale, en haut des escaliers de la Piazza di Spagna, une vue magnifique sur Rome depuis certaines chambres (dont la mienne). Nous avons eu la chance de séjourner dans une partie de l'hôtel située dans un palace romain du 18ème siècle (je pense), un charme unique !
Le petit déjeuner est correct et copieux sans être d'une facture exceptionnelle non plus.
Par contre, mention spéciale à l'ensemble du personnel de l'hôtel, que ce soit à la réception, au service d'entretien de la chambre, ou encore au personnel de salle pour le petit déjeuner. Professionnalisme et bienveillance étaient au rendez-vous à chaque instant.

Great stay in Rome! The hotel is in a perfect location at the top of the Spanish Steps. Taxis are right outside and metro is close. We traveled with our two children ages 12 and 15. Stayed in the hotel apartments which are less than a 10 second walk around the corner of the original hotel. We actually loved this. My daughter said it felt very “Emily in Paris.” The room was modern and spacious and had the most stunning view of Rome and Saint Peter‘s basilica. The staff is super helpful and is even holding items we accidentally left behind until our friends can pick them up in April. Daily breakfast was a plus. Highly recommend this hotel, especially if you’re traveling with children and need extra beds.

Just arrived home from a five day break at this charming hotel in Rome. Located at the top of the Spanish steps, very central. All staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were kept spotless and changed every day. Breakfast was delicious and again the staff kept everything clean and tidy. We will definitely return to this hotel.
