Do NOT stay here.
Pros:

Exterior was nice and location is okay if you only wish to be close to the Vatican. Otherwise very boring neighborhood. Taxi stop right outside the hotel was good so it is easy to leave.

Cons:

Stay away!

The staff were unfriendly and barely looked up when we entered the hotel to check in. Out of the total 6 times we passed through the entrance the staff in the reception never acknowledged or greeted us during our one night stay.

The room was dirty, uncomfortable and small. The towels were dirty, the bed linen was poorly washed and both the bed sheet and duvet (old and pilled and had a bad smell) had many hairs on them. The bed sheet was stained.

The toilet was barely functionable and could only flush the tiniest piece of toilet paper in one go. Shower was small, dirty and the sliding doors did not work properly.

Worst of all was probably the very suspicious stains on both walls and the curtains which resembled human feces but I did not get close enough to verify out of apparent reasons.

Sleeping in the hotel was very difficult due to the paper thin walls and old wafer-like doors. Conversations, showers, toilets and every thinkable noise could be heard several rooms away. The very loud elevator running all night did also disturb even though we had a corner room.

I would never return to this hotel and would not recommend anyone to stay at this place under any circumstances. There are a lot of better options in Rome and I write this very honest review so no one else needs to share the horrible experience we suffered.

El lavabo era pequeño. Los grifos no iban bien. La cisterna del inodoro no funcionaba muy bien. La ducha estaba suelta y goteaba.

Az elhelyezkedés kiváló. A Vatikán a szomszédban, a közeli helyi járat buszok mindenféle elvisznek.

A közvetlen szomszédságában található étterem kiváló.

A hely retró, de hangulatos. A személyzet nagyon kedves.

Cons:

A falak vékonyak, de pihenni lehet. A reggeli nem túl változatos, de elegendő. Az ágy nekem kicsit kemény volt.

Gutes Hotel - ausgezeichnete Lage, aber auch kleine Mängel
Pros:

Das Hotel hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage, man ist innerhalb von ca. 2 Minuten am Petersplatz. Die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ist auch gut. Der Bus fahrt praktisch vor der Haustür weg, die nächste U-Bahn Station liegt zwar ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß weg, ist aber auch relativ gut erreichbar. Taxi-Standort liegt direkt vor der Tür.
Im Zimmer gab es schallschluckende Fenster zur Straße hin - diese waren sehr effektiv.
Auch in der nächsten Umgebung gab es gute Möglichkeiten hinsichtlich Verpflegung - einige kleine Supermärkte und gute und nicht zu teure Restaurants sind neben dem Hotel.

Cons:

Leider war einer der Rezeptionisten nicht sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, als Reaktion auf Beschwerden über den Lärm anderer Gäste (nachts) unternahm dieser gar nichts.
Da die Zimmer extrem hellhörig sind und einige Gäste auch zu Nachtzeiten noch einziehen, Türen zuknallen oder anscheinend Möbel rücken mussten, war das Schlafdefizit entsprechend hoch.
