A very memorable stay …

Beautiful Hotel Aurora is Sperlonga’s jewel in the crown.
The beach front hotel is perfectly located for the old town, the Villa of Tiberius, many eateries and shops.
Our family occupied three rooms in the hotel each with its own different and spectacular view. Communication with Giuseppe and Manuela via email and WhatsApp re which rooms would best suit us, as well as, providing other information, booking taxis etc. was smooth and very helpful.
The spacious hotel, with a quiet floral garden and a terrace overlooking the sea, is very tastefully furnished in an Italian style and is kept clean to a high standard.
The plentiful, delicious breakfast offers much choice as does the lunch menu. In addition, there is a choice of two daily specials for lunch as well as the sea catch of the day. The meals at the hotel’s Nautilus Lunch Restaurant were the ones we enjoyed the most whilst in Sperlonga.
Most importantly, I must comment on the wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. From those on reception, to the waiters, waitresses, cleaners and the two hotel stewards on the beach. A superb team, all working together to provide an amazing stay.
Our only regret was leaving.

Pros:

Very rude and unhelpful staff, which was not helped by a lack of signage or helpful information. We weren’t sure about the rules for accessing the lidos and were only met with aggression or unhelpful clueless responses.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Aurora, the room was delightful, especially the terrace, the staff were very friendly and helpful and our lunch at the restaurant on the Verandah was delicious. I rate this hotel very highly and hope I get the opportunity to go back.

As wonderful as always
Pros:

As expected we had 9 wonderful days here at the Aurora. An absolute gem!
This small family run hotel never disappoints. The staff - most of whom have been here since we started coming here in 2019- ensure that every interaction and experience is a positive one.
The hotel itself is always spotlessly clean and has the most amazing sea views to the front and peaceful flower filled garden to the rear.

Pros:

The view from the room and the restaurant was beautiful. Very clean hotel with nice stuff. Not so many tourists in May. We will come back some day.

A great place to stay
Pros:

A very nice hotel in a great location in the heart of Sperlonga, the hotel being right on the beach.
Sun loungers and parasols on the adjacent beach are included in the hotel price as is parking in the secured car park.
All staff very pleasant and friendly.

Incredible views, rooms, and service!
Pros:

Incredible hotel! Best place to stay in Sperlonga due to the quality of the rooms and beach access. The staff were very helpful and kind. The food for breakfast and lunch were delicious. The bar was great and reasonable priced. The room and the beach were the highlight of our stay! We spent a whole day at the beach at our assigned umbrella and chairs. The concierge was also available to help with any questions we had and many of them spoke English. They even helped us arrange taxi to the train station which was such a help!
