Idéalement situé pour 1 séjour touristique à Gênes

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend. Wer gerne shoppen geht, ist hier genau richtig, denn viele Geschäfte, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind bequem zu Fuss erreichbar. Auch die Umgebung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Besonders die grosse Auswahl an Restaurants und Bars in unmittelbarer Nähe macht den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm.

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, jedoch nichts Aussergewöhnliches. Es gab eine gute Auswahl, sodass grundsätzlich für jeden etwas dabei war. Aufgrund des Frühstücks allein würden wir das Hotel allerdings nicht nochmals buchen. Wegen der ausgezeichneten Lage würden wir jedoch jederzeit wiederkommen, allerdings ohne Frühstück. In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Cafés und Bars, in denen man sehr gut frühstücken kann.

Die Zimmer sind leider deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Das Badezimmer wirkte teilweise renoviert, war jedoch eine Mischung aus neuer und älterer Einrichtung. Das Parkett wies viele Beschädigungen und Löcher auf. Das Kajütenbett beziehungsweise das ausziehbare Bettsofa war ebenfalls sehr alt und stark abgenutzt. Die untere Matratze lag direkt auf dem Boden. Für eine erwachsene Person wäre dies nicht nur sehr unbequem zum Schlafen, sondern auch äusserst mühsam beim Aufstehen.

Besonders enttäuschend war die Sauberkeit hinter dem Bettsofa. Das Kuscheltier unseres kleinen Kindes fiel hinter das Sofa, wodurch wir feststellen mussten, dass sich dort eine grosse Menge Staub angesammelt hatte. Von einem 4-Sterne-Hotel darf man erwarten, dass auch solche Bereiche regelmässig gereinigt werden.

Zudem sind die Zimmer für vier Personen eher klein bemessen. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt mag dies ausreichend sein, für mehrere Tage wird es jedoch schnell eng.

Insgesamt überzeugt das Hotel vor allem durch seine ausgezeichnete Lage. Bei den Zimmern und der Sauberkeit besteht jedoch Verbesserungsbedarf, um dem Anspruch eines 4-Sterne-Hotels gerecht zu werden.
