Best Western Plus Tigullio Royal Hotel

I had an amazing stay this September at the Best Western Tigullio Royal Hotel in Rapallo. This is my 2nd visit to this gorgeous hotel, and I hope to return every year to this beautiful gem of a property that I have discovered. The hotel has so many things to praise, but first and foremost I have to say that the service from ALL employees is absolutely outstanding. From the time you enter to check in, you are made to feel at home and welcome. I cannot say enough about the service I received from Elena, Elizabetta, Moira, and Luca, their manager. They truly go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is a wonderful experience. One of the bonuses of staying here is they have an agreement with another hotel to use their pool and beach facilities. I was truly overwhelmed by Luca, who telephoned for me on a cloudy day, to ensure I could still use their property. He truly went above and beyond, which meant the world to me. The breakfast is fantastic, and the staff again outstanding. The roof top bar is absolutely beautiful, and the bar staff also welcoming and fantastic. My room was gorgeous, with an incredible view of the sea. The location of the hotel is perfect-you are right across the street from the water, and a beautiful boardwalk to enjoy. I honestly cannot say enough about how fantastic this hotel is. I truly am sincere that every employee was outstanding, and I apologize that I cannot name each one, but want each one to know they made my stay very special. I hope to return to this beautiful property next year, and plan to make it I place I always return to. Thank you to the entire staff for such a memorable experience at your beautiful hotel.

We loved our two-night stay here. The staff, without exception, were charming and friendly and very helpful. Our room was lovely - clean and nicely decorated. We had a room at the rear of the hotel and found it quiet and relaxing. The bar provided an amazing apperitivo alongside great Prosecco. For me, a key measure of a great hotel is how well the staff deal with problems. When we found our door wasn’t locking properly it was fixed very quickly, even though it was quite an involved job. Not only that, but everybody from the reception team to the maintenance man, took a genuine interest in getting things fixed. Fantastic.

We would thoroughly recommend this hotel. The location is great. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The variety at breakfast was amazing. The breakfast staff were extremely helpful and attentive. We particularly enjoyed visiting the Sky Bar on the roof. Fantastic views and very attentive service. Special mention of Francisco. He went out of his way to make us comfortable and gave some great tips on local restaurants to enjoy. If you are planning on a visit to Rapallo, definitely keep this hotel at the top of your list.

Misrepresented hotel. I booked the hotel because it seemed that the parking and breakfast was included. When we got to the hotel I was told that neither was included and Check-in person was not helpful. It was way too expensive for what it’s. Don’t stay here.

A very clean, well run hotel. Located on the waterfront area. Cafes and restaurants are all close. Also the train is convenient to the CT.

The Best Western Tigullio Royal hotel is absolutely gorgeous! I found this hotel last year, and it is truly a gem of a find in Rapallo. The front desk staff is absolutely amazing-their customer service is truly outstanding!

Very nice property , wish we stayed for more than one day

Beautiful room in a great location! Was really easy to walk around and see everything we wanted to see. The rooftop bar was also lovely and we would definitely stay again

Very friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet at a normal €12 euro per person rate. Beautiful views, great location for commuting between Rapallo, Santa Margherita, Portofino and Milan. We had a pleasant stay!

Lovely hotel and in a great location. Roof top bar was extra special with amazing views over the town and sea.

Perfect location, and nice junior suite

Amazing property! Right in centre, walkable to everything. Very comfortable, staff is amazing. The best part was their breakfast! Lots of food variety and staff is super friendly. Really recommend this hotel. Thank you to Luca we ended it up staying another night.

Lovely location

Il mio soggiorno a Rapallo è stato reso immensamente più confortevole e piacevole dal mio soggiorno al Best Western Plus Tigullio Royal Hotel. Il personale è stato super cordiale, cortese e molto efficiente. All'arrivo, mi è stato offerto un upgrade a una camera con vista mare completa (180 gradi). La prima sera, mentre ero fuori a cena, mi è stata fatta trovare una bottiglia di champagne in camera. La colazione era spettacolare, super varia con frutta fresca, noci, salumi e formaggi, un'ampia varietà di dolci e a un prezzo molto ragionevole. Li aggiungerò alla mia lista dei preferiti nella Riviera Ligure.
