Rooms are dated, beds are uncomfortable and the shower leaks

The beds were uncomfortable, and they said it was a 3-star hotel, so we shouldn't expect much comfort, and that all the rooms had the same equally uncomfortable beds. The shower didn't have enough water pressure. They take advantage of the location and breakfast to inflate the prices. The TV in the room didn't work to connect to apps like Netflix, HBO, etc., and when we mentioned it, their response was that we must have entered our codes incorrectly. The staff's friendliness left much to be desired with their responses. It's also worth noting that the charge was almost 300 euros per night in these conditions. Honestly, I've had better comforts for less than 3 stars. I wouldn't pay that price per night again under those conditions. I wouldn't recommend it for a good night's sleep.

The air conditioning is terrible as extremely cold and strong. We could not take control from our room and we were cold t night.
Also breakfast is on the roof top but it is extremely hot as only few tables outside and not a lot of choice which makes the breakfast very boring when you stay for several days. No gluten free options
A balcony in the room but no table and no chair to enjoy the outside, you pay an extra for it but then you can not enjoy it….

To small room for 3 people, bad directly under the air-condition, uncomfortable bed.

Despite the excellent location and the beautiful rooms, unfortunately our stay was a major disappointment.

We paid approximately €550 for two rooms for one night and were given rooms 301 and 302 on the top floor. These rooms are located in the restaurant area, directly opposite the restaurant toilets. The toilets are used not only by restaurant customers, but also by hotel guests who arrive early and are waiting for check-in time.

Having shared toilets directly opposite the door of your hotel room is uncomfortable in itself. Having people use the toilets right outside your room during the day reduces the sense of privacy and comfort. Considering the price we paid, we did not expect the rooms to be so closely connected to the common areas.

We were very tired during the day and tried to take a short nap in the afternoon. However, it was quite difficult to fall asleep because of the noise coming from the kitchen and the toilet door directly opposite our rooms, which made a loud dragging noise every time it was opened and closed.

Even after the restaurant closed, it was not completely quiet. Preparations for the following day continued for some time, along with noise from the kitchen and cleaning.

In addition, the air conditioning in one of the rooms did not work effectively enough.

The location in Amalfi is truly fantastic and the rooms themselves are very nice, which actually made our experience even more disappointing. However, considering that we paid approximately €550 for two rooms for one night, we expected a much better level of comfort, privacy and quiet.

If you are offered rooms 301 or 302, I would recommend asking for a different room, especially if you value peace and privacy.
