Breakfast was expensive and not great.
Ate lunch at their terrace restaurant: amazing view, very average food at best, in fact the only meal we had in 10 days that was’t good. The pour of the wine was pathetic/minute especially for the cost, ridiculous
Loved the location, close to town & to Villas Rufolo & Cimbrone , which we enjoyed immensely !!
Also wonderful dinner at hotel & amazing views!
Perfect 40th wedding anniversary celebration visiting gorgeous Amalfi Coast !
Wonderful food, weather, friendly people & stunning landscapes !
Clean , most part, friendly staff( except 1 young lady waitress) great Salvatore, Luigi, michel , front desk staff. One waitress a little “ full of herself”
“Dead of energy “ esp at patio, bar(5’X5’) area. It was crammed into its spot. A bar area is often a place of congregation, meeting others , making new friends.Totally impossible here. That area was an afterthought. Drinks a little pricy! A little, low decibel, Italian music would have been novel! Sat down for breakfast, 5 family members got menus 15 minutes later and was told the buffet was just closed. Poor waitstaff business decision and non-caring attitude. Our 3- rooms of people never went back for food or drink the next 4 days!!! CAN U SAY- lost revenue!!! All because of the “Initial” encounter, the first day. I think her name was Bianca?!
Our travel agent booked us here and we were disappointed with this choice. The view from our room was amazing but the room itself was tired and dated. You can tell that this hotel was probably wonderful a couple decades ago. My 90 year old in-laws would have loved it there. In fact, it felt very much like we were staying in their home. It is clean, well located and the staff is nice but the hotel is very much in need of an update and some love. We would not stay here again.
The evening staff in the restaurant made our experience amazing and the food was incredible, we also had a lovely surprise of having a hot tub on our balcony! Also the pool was amazing X
Breakfast and lunch staff and food options were poor , the staff during these times made us feel very unwelcome and did affect our experience
We had an amazing stay at Hotel Rufolo and I can’t recommend it enough. The location is perfect, right in town with easy access and overlooks the Amalfi Coast and Villa Rufolo gardens. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean with spacious rooms. Would absolutely stay here again, thank you.
Everything was great, except the beds. Very old and unconfortable beds. It would be so easy to buy new beds and make this a perfect hotel...
But again, the rest was great. Amazing view, amazing room and amazing staff.
Hotel Rufolo is a dream. The rooms are lovely and clean and we had the most beautiful terrace with the most incredible view. The staff is so lovely and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. The hotel is very centrally located and you don’t have to walk up and down the side of the mountain to get to the hotel. It is a one minute walk to the pizzas and shopping. The restaurant is wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. I hope to return soon.
Breakfast was a delicous buffet with fresh pastry, eggs, meats, cheese and fruit. The location was perfect with a lovely view that overlooked the coast. The staff was superb. Our stay was wonderful.
Nothing really.
Great location. Smaller rooms on the upper floors with now views have been upgraded and are nice.
Staff at the restaurant weren’t friendly and overworked. The large suit rooms have not been upgraded
10/10 such an amazing experience the city wasn’t too packed like Amalfi and Positano but even more beautiful. Locals were very nice the restaurants were amazing and so close so many options they were so clean I’d have a cleaning lady come in my room even if I was gone only 15 minutes I highly highly recommend anyone this hotel and city just an amazing experience truly I’m not just saying that I even learned a little bit of Italian and made some friends with locals it feels like I’m leaving my home. 11/10

The restaurant was Fantastic
Pasquale charming and professional
Carla great waitress …. Food was fresh and delicious
However breakfast was a bit disappointing…..
No coffee or tea facilities in our room……
Complimentary water only supplied on day one……
Wow what an amazing place. A must visit! The views are amazing, staff incredible, food out of this world and the town quant and full of life. We left Positano early due to it not being our vibe. What a great decision
