Personale educato e gentile.
L'ascensore un po' datato con un cattivo odore proveniente dalla tromba/vano, non dalla cabina che era pulita.
La passatoia usurata nel corridoio del secondo piano.
Il colore bianco delle pareti della camera non fa risaltare molto l'arredo, essendo chiaro a sua volta.
Suggerisco un colore sabbia o carta da zucchero abbinati al bianco delle cornici del tetto.
The location is great, especially if you are coming by car. The hotel is just outside the ZTL, which means you can easily drive there without entering the restricted traffic zone. From the hotel, it is about a 15-minute walk to the Duomo and a 10-minute walk to San Marco.
The room is comfortable. The bathroom we had was very spacious and bright, especially compared with the size of the room. The breakfast is very good, and the staff are welcoming and attentive.
However, the hotel parking is quite expensive (€30–40 per day). It is even more expensive than parking in central Rome.
The reception experience was rather disappointing. When we first arrived, the man at reception did not even look at us and there was certainly no warm welcome. The lady at reception the following day was much friendlier.
Our room was next to the stairs, so it could be quite noisy when people, especially children, were going up and down.
The location was perfect, only a short walk to the centre of Florence.
Having a pool was ideal, it was nice to take a dip after a busy day exploring.
The hotel is stunning inside, a really old building with great character and charm.
The staff are very friendly and attentive, they made our stay very enjoyable.
I can’t say I had any bad points about Hotel Royal.
Villa Royal is a quaint welcoming hotel with everything we needed to relax after long days sightseeing and touring Florence and surrounding Tuscan areas.
Our room was exceptionally clean and air conditioned. One slight issue for us was the shower room being slippery (we should have asked for a bath mat to assure us!).
Breakfast had a great selection and was taken in a lovely breakfast room overlooking the gardens. You can eat in the garden if you like however we chose not to.
Lots of European visitors had driven there and there is ample parking.
The pool area is an added bonus although we only managed a couple of hours there due to our packed itinerary.
The staff were all customer facing and helpful.
The shower was rather slippy

El personal fue super amable y atento, tanto el de recepción como el personal del desayuno. La habitación comodísima y amplia y la zona de jardin y piscina es una maravilla, un lujo muy cerquita del centro histórico. El desayuno super variado, con productos locales y frescos, delicioso.
El aire acondicionado de la habitación era un pelin ruidoso, pero es por decir uan crítica constructiva, todo lo demás perfecto.
La habitación ara àmplia, el desayuno bien y los Camareros que nos atendieron muy amables.
La zona de la piscina estaba descuidada igual qie el jardín, la zona interior de desayuno muy pequeña.
Entiendo qie Cuesta aparcar en la zona però 30€ adicionales al dia, teniendo en cuenta, la que Cuesta el hotel me parece abusivp.
Breakfast was excellent! The option to sit in the garden was lovely (except at 95 degrees!). Breakfast staff was lovely. Room is gorgeous (I had the superior double with garden view and a little balcony). Location is a little removed from the center and there's not much around the hotel. However, a small Carrefours market is just around the corner and a fantastic restaurant, Pizzeria Nasone, also just around the corner - try the beefsteak with peppercorn sauce and the mussel soup. The pool was great.
Front desk staff was helpful but not particularly warm. The steps into the pool could use some sort of a railing. I'm 70 years old with bad knees and the top step out of the pool is not a regulation 8" and a little scary. Also more consistent bar service and pool bar service would be helpful.

Breakfast was a fantastic option/selection, the staff were very accommodating, polite, attentive and helpful.
The location is ideal if you are visiting Florence and don't want to drive any further, it is within easy walk of the main attractions and restaurants.
I found the parking expensive at 40 euros a night for a larger vehicle, but given its location, it's no surprise.
The hotel is located JUST outside of the LTZ zone, so you may enter the zone trying to find the hotel from other directions, something to be aware of, so you don't get a fine later when you get home from your trip.
The hotel has the ability to notify the authorities of your registration in advance, so you shouldn't be fined if providing you don't drive around a lot.

Die Villa mit ihrem Garten ist super gelegen, alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Sehr gutes Frühstück und das Auto konnte man im Hof sicher parken.
