Very basic hotel lacking customer care

Cons:

Reception staff were not warm and welcoming. The hotel had 3 prolonged power outages during our stay with no running water during the time and in 36 degree heat no aircon. There were no updates or communication or complimentary offers of a drink etc. the maid service was poor and dirty sheets not changed.

Pros:

Good location 10 minutes gentle walk to historic centre. Very friendly staff, ample choice available at breakfast. The pool was extremely quite and charming. Excellent parking on site if needed

Great place would love to stay again
Pros:

The staff was welcoming and supportive, the rooms were beautiful, The bad were comfortable, the breakfast was good with many choices. The swimming pool was great. The garden is beautiful.

Cons:

I would appreciate if was possible to extend the hours of the swimming pool

Feels like living in your own villa in Florence
Pros:

Beautiful villa from 1700s converted to a hotel gives the feeling of being in a historical building. Breakfast is amazing (so much fruit!!), staff are very kind, round the clock reception, really nice pool and garden area. Big bathroom and high ceilings and chandeliers. Bed is super comfortable and the furnishings are on theme with the villa. There’s also an elevator. Big comfortable communal area to sit and read books or do some work. Feels like living in your own villa! This is on the outer edge of the main city so the neighborhood is quiet. It’s about 26 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio and 15 minutes to Mercato Central. Nearby there’s a Carrefour and a pharmacy. From the train station it’s a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi.

Cons:

The AC was stuck at 25 C in our room which was a bit warm for me however it seemed to be fixed by the last day.

Está bien. Viajé sola no por turismo por una corta estancia. Habitación individual pequeña pero luminosa. Lo imprescindible, pero bien. El jardin y zonas comunes muy bien. Desayuno en jardín. Para otra ocasión de mas larga estancia procuraré alojarme aquí

Lovely comfortable stay, great pool, very friendly staff
Pros:

Very friendly staff, extremely comfortable bed, large well-maintained refreshing pool. Away from the centre which allows for some tranquility. Great cot provided for our infant.

Cons:

We stayed in one of the apartments which felt a little tired (some scuffed walls, some holes in bottom of door frames) and unfortunately didn’t have mosquito nets on any except one window, despite the many mosquitos around. Would have perhaps expected more of a 4 star hotel BUT the apartment was fully functional, the air conditioning worked very well and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Anti-mosquito repellents to plug/burn were also provided free of charge.

Beautiful hotel, gardens and pool in a great central location. Staff were marvellous and lovely especially the breakfast

Lovely hotel , great place to stay for exploring Florence
Pros:

Good sized room with lovely terrace. Set in lovely grounds with swimming pool. Just on the outskirts of Florence and perfect for walking to all the sights

Cons:

Shower floor was very slippery, really needed a mat as could be quite dangerous
