Great little place in the heart of the old city.
Access to the room took a few short stair runs. Bed was very firm, harder than we are used to.
Absolutely fantastic staff, very helpful and supportive.

Our stay at San Giorgio left much to be desired. The hotel feels very out of date, with worn carpets, dark and dingy interiors, and a general lack of attention to detail. There’s an attempt at a shabby chic aesthetic, but it leans far more shabby than chic — tired furnishings and mismatched décor only added to the sense of neglect.

The bathroom was full of cracks and questionable filler, which didn’t inspire confidence. Breakfast was limited and oddly managed by staff who seemed more focused on routine than hospitality. Coffee was offered inconsistently, with some guests served while others were overlooked — ourselves included.

Practicalities were frustrating: there were hardly any plug sockets, making it difficult to charge phones or use hair straighteners. Noise was another issue — we were woken just before 8am by drilling and hammering from workmen, and the thin walls meant we could hear every movement from the rooms next door, especially in the bathroom.

Overall, the experience lacked comfort and consideration. It’s not somewhere I’d return to without significant improvements.

Very close to vicinity around shopping area, plaza, and metro station good for 1&2 night stay.

Unfortunately this hotel is too pricey and pretentious for what it actually is.
Unfriendly staff with no social skills.
Management should consider hiring younger, friendly, customer oriented staff to welcome customers at the reception desk.

Property was quite dated, especially the bathrooms. Everything was kept very clean however, and staff were very helpful. Good gluten free options for breakfast when inquiry was made as well.

Superbra centralt hotell i Florens, nära till tågstationen och alla sevärdheter. Stort rum och bra sängar.

Hotel con excelente ubicación y personal muy agradable, edificio antiguo que necesita reforma y mejorar el aire acondicionado para las altas temperaturas en verano. No tiene minibar en la habitación. La cama amplia y comoda, las toallas de ducha normales pero el resto eran paños. El desayuno muy poco variado. Los deficits los compensan con su amabilidad y excelente ubicación.

値段の割にびっくりするぐらい優良なホテルでした。

強いていうなら冷蔵庫が壊れて使えなかったぐらい。

朝食ビュッフェは食べていないがレストランの大きさからして期待できそう。

中庭もあり男性なら洗濯物も干せる

The hotel is very close to Santa Maria Novella station - perfect for those having to use the train. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the area around the hotel is also safe at night. Food options and bars are never a worry - so much to choose rrom. I would stay at this hotel again!

Bathroom had mold, furniture had holes. No plugs for appliances, mold on bath curtain, paint peeling and mold in bathroom

I liked the location of this hotel. Only a five minute walk to the train station, and easy access to food, the market, and much more. Everything else was about 10-15 minutes away. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There was air conditioning and an elevator. Both worked well.
The rooms were a little dirty on the walls, but overall, I liked staying here and would stay again!

Just a bare bones basic hotel. No frills. Room television did not work. Near the train station, which is convenient, but a scary area.

Pleasant 3 star hotel, less than 100 metres from the underpass to SMN station and minutes from the main sights. Hotel needs modernisation, but is very well priced for Florence. Staff very nice. There's a lack of storage space in the bedrooms and the breakfast was a bit grim - unless you like a lot of sugary foods.

At arrival we were met by a very helpful receptionist. The hotel is old and a bit worn, but quite okay. We got a small room with a balcony as per my wife's wishes. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Location was very good. 5-6 minutes from the train station and a litt of the "must see" things were in walking distance. We enjoyed the stay very much.
