Elegant, clean, very polite staff, well-thought breakfast
Pros:

Very elegant design and decoration, very clean, comfortable bed, polite and willing to help staff, and very good breakfast with various choices although it is low season and there seem to be few guests at the hotel.

Ottima posizione per arrivare in auto e visitare Lucca dentro le mura
Pros:

Posizione davvero ottima, molto comodo il posteggio. Staff molto gentile; albergo in corso di ristrutturazione (il primo piano) ma senza disagi. Camera nuova, abbastanza piccola, letto molto comodo.

Cons:

La stanza è un po' piccola, ma dovendoci solo dormire più che accettabile.

Pros:

Out of season, so the bar was not open, but desk staff was happy to provide a drink when we asked. Great recommendations for places to see. The room was spotless, as was the rest of the hotel. Easy short walk to the city. Private parking to the rear. Lovely stay.
