Perfect Hotel for Lucca
Pros:

Very good hotel in Lucca. Ideally placed just outside the town-walls with parking facility (saves the hassle to drive into the narrow city-streets). Possibility to use bikes for free to visit the city and have a ride on the city wall promenade. Very kind staff, explaining the must-sees in the city.
Good breakfast.
We had a family room for 4 people. Room and bathroom were very clean.

Cons:

Seriously: nothing :-)

Highly recommended.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast every day. Free bikes for cycling around the city. Convenient location for both the city and train station (we had intended to travel from Pisa by train but a delayed flight meant we needed a taxi, however we did use trains to both Pisa and Viareggio during our stay. The hotel also did an excellent job of accommodating my disabled sister, her daughter and three grandchildren who joined us a few days later.

Comfortable but overpriced.
Pros:

Room was clean and staff were very helpful. Free bike rental was a nice bonus.

Cons:

The hotel is rated as 4 star which is not the case. The hotel in general is dated as are the rooms. Breakfast was very disappointing with no cooked options. The price for this room was high due to the concerts and overpriced for the standard of the hotel.
