Excellent hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Extremely convenient if you are arriving by train to Lucca. Right by the station (although still a pleasant area) and a short walk into the old town. Lovely staff, decent rooms, functional ac and a decent breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Consiglio il Rex, che si trova fuori delle mura ma nelle immediate vicinanze. Non è “caratteristico” ma ben organizzato
Pros:

L’albergo è adiacente alla stazione ferroviaria ma silenzioso, a due passi dalle mura e dal centro. Poche camere, tranquille e dotate di bagno ben fornito. Personale cordiale e disponibile.

Labai gera vieta - geležinkelio stotis vos už minutės kelio nueiti pėsčiomis. Visai šalia centras. Viešbutyje sukurta atmosfera lyg namuose. Buvome užsisakę nakvynę vienai nakčiai, tačiau prireikė ir antros, tai viešbučiui nesudarė problemų ją mums suteikti.

Staff gentilissimo, hotel nel piazzale della stazione in un contesto molto tranquillo, attraversando la strada si arriva alle Mura e in un paio di minuti da Porta San Pietro si è in centro. Colazione varia e abbondante.

Pros:

I was positively surprised. It was fully quiet at night even though the hotel is located between the railway station square and a busy road. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the room was fully equipped. Very nice personnel and the breakfast was really wonderful. Recommend!

I like everything about the property. Location, facilities, cleanliness and hospitality. There are tea, coffee and fridge in the room and biscuits in the hall. Shower is great. Breakfast is generous. The host even made me a cappuccino

Perfect 3 star hotel, beyond our expectations
Pros:

Location next to train station was very practical and it's also a short distance of the walls. The area was safe; I had no problem walking out late evening with children. Although not recently renovated, the room and shared areas were perfectly maintained and exceptionally clean. We arrived early after lunch and the room was offered before check in time. The room was very dark and quiet once the blinds closed. We slept very well as the bed were comfortable. No carpet on the floor, which is always a plus, and absolutely no sign of dust. Plenty of warm water and good size shower. Medium size fridge for mini bar allowed us to keep our water cold and store a few food items. The breakfast buffet included a large variety of food items from usual italian pastries and torta della nonna, small muffins, ham, salami, yogourt and cheese, bread for toast and pancakes, peanut butter, Nutella and so on. Same for good selection of drinks. Hostess offered cappuccino and espresso and American coffee was also available. When we checked out, my daughters were offered a little gift bag. Money very well spent on that 3 star hotel. I would return anytime and would not hesitate to recommend it. (Having walked most of the day to tour Lucca, we were happy to find at a very short distance, Pizzeria da Francesco where pizza and pasta were very good and at a reasonable price)

Excellent Location for Every thing you want ! Hotel was immaculately clean !! Hosts were excellent and very helpful! One little complaint And it is a minor issue! Was the power of the shower ! Took a bit longer in there than I wanted! But Will not deter us from visiting again!! Thank you to all concerned

As a solo traveller, I booked a room with a single bed. Tiny, nice, and clean. Good breakfast. Excellent position, just in front of the station.
