Lovely staff, amazing food at the restaurant and comfortable room.

We arrived very late (2am) due to a delayed flight but were still able to check in no problem.

The restaurant garden is gorgeous and evening menu is delicious and very reasonably priced. Breakfast is served in the garden too and is a good normal continental buffet.

The room was comfortable and clean if a little dated, but we felt that was part of the charm. ts kind of old school, but all the better for it.

Vi havde 3 overnatninger på Hotel Mediterraneo i Montecacini Terme. Super beliggenhed lige for enden af vejen og med parken som nabo. Autentisk italiensk hotel, dejlige værelse, vi havde et med balkon. Personalet er helt igennem så søde og serviceminded uden, at være for meget. Der spises morgenmad på den anden side af gaden, udendørs i nogle fantastiske kulisser. Her er også stedet restaurant, som vi varmt kan anbefale. Dejlig mad. Serveret med et meget højt serviceniveau. En dejlig oplevelse. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen. Selve byen er også fin, med stort udvalg af gode butikker og restauranter. Og så selvfølgelig alle kurtstederne inde i parken.

Ein sehr nettes Personal. Das etwas in Jahre gekommene Hotel besticht durch seine Lage und seine Atmosphäre. Nachteil ist die Poolmitbenützung in ca 8 min Gehdistanz.

The hotel was lovely with a real Italian authentic feel. No stainless steel or tinted glass it had the look feel from a much more leisurely time. The staff were wonderful and could not do more. The restaurant was excellent with a much bigger choice of menu than one may have anticipated. Also the food was super. And an relatively inexpensive hotel. Do I recommend this hotel? Well I would not hesitate in going back.

The Hotel Management and restaurant waiters are very friendly and hospitable. I would recommend it to my friends.

Das Hotel Mediterraneo hat uns sehr gut gefallen, das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer, vor allem das Bad, ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Un accueil chaleureux, des chambres aux prix raisonnables et dans le centre. La décoration n’était pas à notre goût, mais pour une nuit tout y était. Un petit parking était à notre disposition.

We had a great time in Mediteraneo. We stayed in a family room with a balcony overlooking the mountain and the park. The hotel is a very short distance to all shops, city centre and the park.

Un trato inmejorable por parte del personal y un hotel perfecto, tanto por ubicación ( un lugar muy tranquilo a tan solo cinco minutos andando del pueblo) como por sus prestaciones. Habitación amplia y muy cómoda, con mucho encanto y todas las comodidades. Desayuno muy bueno también en un jardincito encantador. El hotel no tiene piscina pero alojándote aquí puedes disfrutar de la del hotel de al lado que es exterior. Está enfrente de un parque y a 15 min. paseando del famoso funicular.
El hotel tiene muchísimo encanto. Repetiríamos sin dudar. Tiene parking.Es un buen sitio para alojarse si quieres ver distintos pueblos de la Toscana con luy buena relación calidad-precio.

De ontvangst in hotel Mediterranea was hartelijk en de service goed. Het Diner was een beetje duurder dan je zou verwachten in Italie, maar de setting in het parkje voor het hotel was erg charmant.
De instructies naar het zwembad in een hotel aan de andere kant van het park hadden duidelijker gemogen. Al bij al een charmant en karakteristiek hotel. Een leuke ervaring.

We were on a family vacation from the US, using Hotel Mediterraneo as a central location for reaching various spots in Tuscany. The location was great, although the GPS often took us through a ZTL. Fortunately, the ZTL was "Non Attivo" all of the times we went through. Plenty of restaurants and gelato within walking distance.

We had a room with a balcony (there are only a few) with a small adjoining room for our two boys. The balcony overlooked the outdoor restaurant, and was really a great addition. A/C kept the rooms pretty cool, which was great for a July stay.

The breakfast buffet was great each morning. We had nice weather, and were able to eat outside each morning. Nice spread of food. Service was excellent.

There is a large public park across from the hotel. There are always plenty of people taking dogs on walks, jogging, etc... always a great escape no matter the time of the day.

The beds were a bit firm and parking was tight, but manageable. There's a bit of street parking, and the hotel sells cheap daily passes if there is no space in the lot across from the hotel.

Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a central location for day trips through Tuscany.

Old building and shower is a challenge. Hotel needs upgrade and overpriced.

Tout était parfait

Gradevole struttura a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro di Montecatini e dalle Terme. Possibilità di mangiare in giardino proprio davanti l'hotel, disponibilità di parcheggi pubblici in zona. Personale gentilissimo ed efficientissimo. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo, perde un po' per i prezzi del ristorante alla carta, che però compensa con la qualità.
La stanza che ho avuto era una quadrupla, dotata di tv, frigo (efficace), poggia-valigie, tre armadi e doccia con soffione fisso e flessibile, comodissima per famiglie con bambini.
Decisamente da consigliare.

Met vrienden hebben we 1 week verbleven in dit hotel, gelegen aan de rand van een mooi park.
We hebben alle ochtenden gebruik gemaakt van een prima ontbijt. Op 2 dagen na kregen we een goed diner voorgeschoteld.
Het gehele personeel was behulpzaam, vriendelijk en zeer gastvrij.
Het hotel had een goede uitstraling en verzorgde , gedateerde kamers.
Voor het hotel was niet voldoende parkeergelegenheid voor alle gasten.Wel kon er gratis in de buurt worden geparkeerd en vrij geparkeerd van 20.00 uur tot 08.00 uur.

Excellent small family hotel. Friendly, helpful, clean and not expensive. Excellent location. Excellent first-class food. We could find nothing to fault.
