Villa Casalecchi Country Hotel

The property is an expansive old estate with a lot of charm and privacy. Staff were wonderful and friendly. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Tuscany!

Vi havde et helt fantastisk ophold. To voksne og to små børn. Det et familievenligt sted med charme og sjæl. Vi kan varmt anbefale stedet. Den nærmeste lille by rummer også charme og gode restauranter.

Fint hotell med gammalt stuk. Vi var där 2 nätter och det var bra service och personal var väldigt hjälpsamma. Bra läge om ni resa runt i Chianti och Siena som inte låg så långt ifrån.

A truly unique Tuscany experience!

We stayed in the guesthouse and there was a water leak in the room. We noticed the leak around 8:00 pm. We notified the hotel and we were just given two buckets to place under the leak. Never were we offered a different room. When I brought this to the attention to the owner the next day we were not given any sort of discount and told that we ordered the “lowest rate room.” I told her that a leak in the roof is a structural issue and unacceptable. After discussing for several minutes the only amount of money she took off was the drink orders from the night before.
There were also a lot of bugs in the room and it had a musty odor. I personally did not feel this room was equipped for guests.

This property is like living the best life possible. Costanza was the ultimate welcoming person. She shared the incredible history of this property from its original purpose of a tower in the 800's to it's sale in the 1200's & the stones being used to build the mansion for a wealthy family from Florence. During WWII it was confiscated by the SS who evicted the family & General Patton bombing it & kicking them out.
The original family returned, rebuilt it & still own it today

The owner has created a beautiful, harmonious setting with stunning view’s everywhere you look. We felt very comfortable as soon as we arrived, our every need was catered for.

Details a little fuzzy! Some written info on Wi-Fi, breakfast, check out time etc. would have been helpful. We were told verbally but when you get a lot of info at check in, written backup would be nice.

Excellent stay in a very lovely and clean villa in Tuscany! A quiet and lovely place to relax. Very nice staff, excellent service and good breakfast with a view! Rooms were spacious and clean. Also, a very nice pool & bar!

I would take the positive reviews of this hotel with a significant pinch of salt, they are not to be believed.

The bathroom was mouldy and there was a serious lack of detail to the cleaning. The water pressure made the shower barely useable.

There was loud water running outside our bedroom window all night, we advised the owner with no response.

The air conditioning in the room was very poor.

The pool area has many smokers, and apparently regular guests are given priority on sun bed allocation.

We booked six nights at a cost of over €1,000 and left after 3 it was that bad.

The owner is rude and has very poor customer service skills.

It’s very over priced and with avoiding.

Lage und Art waren besonders und deswegen gut. Nicht schön war die Zufahrt (Feldweg). Für die Ausstattung sehr gehobener Preis!
