Hotel La Terrazza is a wonderful place to stay in Assisi ,quiet, clean, and surrounded by stunning views of the hills. The staff are warm and very friendly and welcoming, their tooms are lovely, and breakfast is excellent. Perfect mix of comfort, charm, and genuine hospitality.

This hotel is just beautiful, clean and an oasis of elegance and contemporary charm. The rooms are comfortable and spacious in a country known for very small accommodations. The hotel front desk staff are extraordinary - no question goes unanswered to your satisfaction. Totally enjoyable. You will not be disappointed.

Our stay at Hotel Ristorante La Terrazza was perfect for our 4 day visit to Assisi. The hotel is an easy 10-15 walk to town but there is also a bus stop at the hotel with a bus leaving every 30 minutes. The accommodations were clean and modern. We especially enjoyed the pool in the afternoon after a busy day exploring Assisi. Would highly recommend Hotel Ristorante La Terrazza to anyone visiting Assisi.

This is our second vacation here at La Terazza in Assisi. This time, our visit coincided with World Youth Day. There was singing and dancing within the walls of Assisi. It was wonderful. Then, we could come back to LaTerrazza for a wonderful swim with fantastic views and peace. The Hotel is very new and a perfect mix of old stone and crisp clean white walls and newly remodeled room.
Will stay here again!

This is a difficult review to write as this hotel is so special that we almost want to keep it a secret: however, to do so would not do justice to Antonello, his family and the wonderful staff at La Terrazza.
We stayed at the hotel for six nights in late July when, for the second year running, we came to the area for the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia.
Rather than split our trip between Assisi and Perugia, we decided to stay in Assisi and use La Terrazza as a base for visiting both cities and we were not disappointed.
To experience La Terrazza is like visiting an old friend where you expect to be treated like family and this is exactly how it happens here.
From the moment you arrive until the time you check-out, you are made so very welcome that you wish your stay was a longer one.
The warmth of the hotel itself, the friendliness of staff, the excellent facilities including the glorious and sparklingly clean pool coupled with the fact Assisi is a mere 15/20 minute walk away, all combine to make a stay at La Terrazza an experience not to be missed!
We thoroughly recommend staying at La Terrazza as, once you have been here, you will want to return - we shall, certainly, be booking our visit in 2026 - if not before…

This is a lovely little hotel about 1km out of Assissi. The grounds are beautifully kept, staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is very good indeed. The pool was absolutely lovely - we were on a cycle tour of Umbria so we stayed in several hotels and this one had the best pool in my view.

This hotel has a small annex and it's the same everywhere - always avoid the annex! The rooms are OK but it overlooks the road. The road noise wasn't actually that bad but the sound proofing between rooms is the real issue. There were some pretty disturbing noises from next door of the intimate kind!

A wonderful experience even if it was too short. I was travelling with a friend and we would have extended our stay, if only we could!
The team at the hotel was kind, helpful and always ready to respond to our requests. The swimming pool was always clean and the restaurant offer quite satisfactory. Not to mention a top-notch wellness center. Assisi is easily reached in less than 15 minutes on foot. Great place, highly recommended!

We had an excellent time at Hotel la Terrazza. I shared a twin room with my colleague and we found the room and the hotel to be clean and incredibly friendly. The bedroom was big enough for sharing, the closet had ample room for all our things and the bathroom was just the right size.

We appreciated the small balcony, which provided us extra space so we didn’t feel we were on top of each other.

The food in the hotel was excellent - breakfast was continental, so if you are looking for a more extensive menu this might not be for you.

Dinner was great with a wide variety to chose from. We were especially appreciative of our waiter, Sergio’s help. He had great tips in the local area, as well as suggesting alternative food voices to suit our wishes.

The entire staff were very nice and accommodating when we needed help. The pool and the grounds were well maintained, very clean and I appreciated the quiet moments relaxing there, as it was my first holiday in a long time.

Overall, we found the hotel to be great value for money and a convenient location to Assisi for us as we had no car. We walked into the center of town in about 15 minutes, there was also the option of a shuttle bus nearby if we needed it.

It was a great holiday and it was hard to leave, we are already planning on when we might return again in the future!

Clean, quiet, great location. Staff professional and accommodating. Good restaurant. Away from the hustle and bustle of a downtown location but with easy access to the city centre.

The hotel was great and the staff were very accommodating. My only concern was the actual distance the hotel was from the center of town. It was a good walk there and back. I assumed I was closer to all of the sites by the description.

My partner and I felt very well taken care of at La Terrazza. The food was delightful, and the service was exceptional. The highlight for us was the view from the swimming pool, where we could see the stunning Umbrian countryside. It was just what we both needed!

This place is a gem! We LOVED our stay. We had 3 young kids with us & it was perfect.

All the staff are extremely nice; great service; restaurant has great food; and the views are extraordinary. We ended up stranded there and wish we could have stayed more and done more.

It is a very peaceful place.

Hotel molto pulito e accogliente . La struttura potrebbe tranquillamente essere un 4 stelle. Personale molto gentile e cortese. Ci ritornerei volentieri. Lo consiglio !
