Pros:

Great location, the apartment was comfortable and new. Quiet.

Cons:

Beds, especially pillows were not comfortable. AC in bedroom didn't cool as well as in other rooms. Staff was professionally courteous, but not particularly friendly, especially given a 5 night stay.

Did not meet our expectations based on price.

The location - The main building is atmospheric - Very clean hotel -

Cons:

Breakfast - yes, a TON of food, but nothing of good quality - Less is MORE - would rather have a few fresh baked goods and a nice cup of coffee then plates and plates of cookies and cheeses/meats that have been sitting out repeatedly. Hard boiled eggs rubbery - just not good. Nothing we attempted to eat was appetizing.

Cost - Very very much overpriced.

Staff - Efficient, but not overly welcoming.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Bologna
Pros:

It is a beautiful, old hotel in the heart of the historic center. The room was extremely well appointed, and the breakfast was perfection! The beds were very comfortable.

Cons:

The location is a two-edged sword. It is wonderful to stay there, but getting there is a bit nerve wracking. You have to drive through some limited traffic areas, and while they give ample directions, for someone unfamiliar with the area, it is a bit daunting. It also seemed the directions upon leaving were a little more confusing.

History, Service, Location - Would 100% Recommend
Pros:

This hotel is lovely and in a prime location. The staff is wonderful, the breakfast is perfect, and there is so much history all around the hotel. The bathrooms were especially wonderful with larger showers.

Cons:

The only downside is that due to its prime location it could be loud at night. That doesn't bother me, but could bother families with kids for example.

Location, convenience, quiet, comfortable
Pros:

Location is fabulous, adjacent to central square yet on a quiet street; and convenient to historic features of interest, shopping, restaurants, services. Room was well appointed and bed very comfortable. AC functioned well and easy to adjust.

Sumptuous breakfast buffet, so many choices, fresh and well presented. Brewed coffee available, as well as "to order" Italian traditional offerings.

Reception friendly and oriented to helping make our visit memorable, including assisting with reservations.

Quiet, charming, centrally located historic hotel with facilities and decor a very high standard
Pros:

Delightful hotel right next to the Duomo in the centre of Bologne. Despite this central location it was in a very quiet street away from the main square alongside the cathedral. It was a wonderful historic hotel, beautifully decorated to a very high standard. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Delicious and every possible option for breakfast.
