Hotel Carlton

Stayed in Ferrara on a work trip, the Hotel is in a great location in the middle of this Beautiful city, the staff are very friendly and helpful with perfect English. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned to a very high standard daily. I would highly recommend anyone staying here .

Overall, this is a very good hotel. Its breakfast is very tasty, and it is very clean. The staff at the front desk was friendly and knew enough English to help us unfortunate non-Italian-speakers. A few other points:

I stayed in the “dependance” in a serviced apartment. Strangely, a very loud machine made a loud noise about every hour, sometimes more often. They provided earplugs, but I think they need to find a way to quiet this machine all night. It definitely woke me up several nights.

The fitness center is not well-equipped. I don’t see how the main weight machine can be operated. Instructions could be useful, but I think it is just very badly designed, and there is not even a handle on the bottom cable. But it has a few dumbbells you can work into an HIIT workout.

They did not provide soap or a sponge or kitchen towels for the kitchen. Most serviced apartments provide these things. Some detergent for the laundromat down the road would also be a nice gesture. But note the nearest laundromat is quite expensive, about 6 euros per wash and 6 per dry.

The hotel is modern inside, roomy, very good hot water pressure, tasty breakfast options, and a friendly staff.

Excellent service, very good recommendations for visiting Restaurants and sites for turism. We enjoyed so much the food , the visits, teh castles. It was easy to transport to Bolognia and to Milano by common trains or bay the fastest Frecciarossa, it was cracy and good things.

No ironing in your room was annoying.

The hotel is in a central location, but in a restricted traffic zone, so very quiet. Close enough to several nice restaurants. Large, comfortable room; large well-equipped bathroom; excellent breakfast. The staff are courteous, friendly and helpful.
No complaints whatsoever. I would certainly stay here again.

Staff is delightful, cordial and helpful.

The hotel is very cosy, clean, comfortable, on god location. Room we were in was very nice. Not only clean and comfortable (which is the most important for me when I travel anywhere, I do not ask for luxury, but put accent on touring of the cities I visit) but also very well equipped, with good furniture and amazing view on small gardens and backyards of Ferara. I would definitely come again.

Hotel bem localizado e quarto muito confortável. Atendimento muito simpático e atencioso. Hotel 3 estrelas muito melhor que alguns que se diziam 4 estrelas aqui na Itália.

Fabulous location, staff, and accommodations (stayed in apartment Ambra). Every staff member was kind and helpful, particularly considerate of our limited vocabulary in Italian! Will defineatly stay again on future trips to Ferrara.

Great location, wonderful apartment,clean convenient, spacious. Excellent staff, always ready to help with recommendations for the areas sites and attractions as well as great restaurants. Very friendly and kind particularly with our limited Italian vocabulary.

Ein sehr ordentlich gefúhrtes Hotel. Sehr gutes Frühstúck mit mehreren Sorten von Croissant und Anderem. Und das Personal sehr entgegenkommend. Ich komme gerne wieder zurück.

The hotel has an excellent location! Parking with an elevator is interesting, with the help of the hotel staff but for us very simple with enough space.
Breakfast is high quality and varied.
The room corresponds to the price and quality of the hotel. Clean, quite spacious. For us the only problem was that the room did not have sufficient air conditioning and it was very hot and that was not pleasant!
Otherwise very helpful and friendly hotel staff.
