Wonderful hotel with outstanding breakfast.
Pros:

Lovely hotel across from the castle. The room was comfortable and the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. Whenever we had a question about museums or other historic buildings the people at the front desk were always knowledgeable and helpful. Our favorite thing about the hotel was the breakfast. It was outstanding. The best breakfast we had in any hotel ever. Loved the bruschetta and the yogurt with all the toppings. Especially the blackberries and the chocolate pieces. The selection of meats and cheeses was great. Every thing was fresh and delicious. We really enjoyed the freshly brewed coffee instead of the usual coffee machines you find at other hotels. Ferrara Is a very interesting and clean city filled with amazing museums and churches. We loved it.

Cons:

The only negative about the hotel was the excessive use of perfume/deodorizer used in our room, elevator and lobby. The hotel is very clean and did not need the perfume spray. I asked the front desk to have the maid not spray it in our room and our request was respected. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay in it again.

Pros:

The location is excellent, just opposite the Castle. The bed (including mattress and pillow) was very comfortable. The room was warm and had wooden floor. I liked special string in the bathroom to dry whatever you need to dry.

Cons:

The entrance to the hotel was not very noticeable. It was really hard to open bathroom door. Shower was tiny. I am an average person, but I could hardly squeeze through the shower door.

The hotel is basically good but they should pay attention to the small details as well.
Pros:

The room was big and comfortable. The biscuits they put as a welcome gift were marvellous.

Cons:

There were issues with the sinks in the bathroom, sometimes the water was too hot so you could not get the cold one to brush one's teeth and such. The drainage didn’t work properly either.
