Tolle Lage in Strandnähe, privater Strand, nettes Hotel, kein Luxus, aber alles Nötige vorhanden und sauber, Frühstück für italienische Verhältnisse ok (ausser Kaffee).

My wife and I stayed at La Coccinella for a week this September and can't say enough good things about the hotel and the family who runs it. First things first, the hotel is VERY clean and the furniture is modern and stylish (not trendy but stylish). The bathroom was small but very clean and modern with good water pressure. I'm a big guy and the shower was a tight fit but hey, this is Italy. The room has a very nice,large balcony. Overall you can just tell that everything is well cared for and maintained.
The location was in a quiet neighborhood but still in walking distance to the center of town. The beach access is a very short walk and they have their own private area with chairs and umbrellas. The beach in this area is sandy and wide with a very gradual drop off. It seemed perfect for kids. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants within a short walk.
Speaking of food,the breakfast here is great! Italians don't usually do a big breakfast but they had such a nice spread every morning at 7:30 with fresh fruit, fresh bread, meats, cheeses, yogurt and you can boil your own eggs if you want. Everything was restocked quickly and the area is set up in a nice way.

We were two days in San Vincenzo (september). We arrived by train from Roma Termini. Water was quite warm but there were not to many swimmers. Hotel has got their own Beach what is nice. WiFi is okey but the access to WiFi should be changed (the necessity of password and login all the time..)

Hotel un po distante dal centro del paese, che resta comunque raggiungibile con una bella passeggiata. Le camere sono semplici ma pulite. Ottimo il servizio spiaggia compreso nel prezzo. La colazione era buona ma decisamente poco varia se si tiene conto del fatto che gli ospiti soggiornano per più notti.
