Sehr schönes Gebäude mit aussergewöhnlicher Architektur, nette & sehr klassische Zimmer, wunderschöne Poolanlage, tolle Lage des Hotels, nicht weit weg vom Strand, Valet-Parking. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet. Ich habe meinen Geburtstag dort verbracht und das Hotel hat auf Wunsch meiner Bekannten im Vorfeld Kuchen, Blumen und Luftballons organisiert! Top!

Servizio, assenza di personalizzazione per 5 stelle, assenza di una palestra, piscina in ombra da dopo pranzo, camere vetuste senza manutenzione, doccia rotta, personale serale addetto al parcheggio sempre sgorbiutico, colazione povera per un 5 stelle, ascensori lenti e con led indicatori piano non funzionanti, le camere comfort hanno solo 1mq in più rispetto alle basi, le immagini del sito non rispecchiano afffatto la realtà

Our third stay at this wonderful hotel. Staff are exceptional and breakfast vast and delicious. Rooms are spotless and linens/towels refreshed when necessary. Love this hotel and hope to go again next year. Thank you Marco and all your staff.

Cons:

Not the same modern touches as newer hotels, small tv with very few international stations, no USB sockets etc. But this doesn't matter because the hotel maintains its old world charm and class.
Yes the lounge chairs could do with re-upholstering, the lifts could be upgraded, the bathrooms could be fitted with modern showers, but who cares. The welcome you get and the feeling of being pampered make these niggles seem churlish.
