Buon Hotel con un potenziale decisamente maggiore
Pros:

Antico edificio molto scenico. Posteggio privato chiuso. Possibilità di portare il cane. Camera e bagno abbastanza ampi con frigo bar, safe e aria condizionata (un pochino antiquata). Abbastanza buona la pulizia. Acqua fresca col limone nella hall molto apprezzata e dissetante in questo periodo di calura e canicola, come pure le caramelle e le liquirizie. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Personale gentile e disponibile.

Cons:

L'arredo dell'hotel e delle camere. Troppi oggetti ovunque di generi troppo diversi che alla fine stridono fra loro (vedi a esempio vaso moderno con fiori finti, divieto di fumo di carta appeso con il nastro adesivo, poster di ogni genere senza un'attinenza concreta con l'albergo). Sarebbe preferibile un unico stile antico o moderno, mantenendo una certa coerenza. Posizione non centralissima, anche se il centro è raggiungibile abbastanza agevolmente a piedi attraversando il parco ducale di fronte all'hotel. L'obbligo di dover scegliere orario e prodotti della colazione, alcuni addirittura con un sovraccosto (sic!), non si addice ha una struttra che vanta 4 stelle.

Excellent beautiful hotel from which to explore Parma
Pros:

The superb welcome late at night; the lovely beers we were served on arrival; the very comfy room; the excellent breakfast; the convenient parking facilities.

Pros:

Lovely traditional hotel with 24 HR reception and room service (until 2000). Nice room with lobby to separate private bathroom.
On site car parking - chargeable though.

Cons:

Chose hotel on location as it is only separated from old city by Ducal Park and bridge over assumed river. The Park is not well presented currently and local guide advised against walking through after dark. The river is a seasonal torrent, dry in Summer.
So walk to town was not as pleasant as hoped.
