buon compromesso
Pros:

la cortesia del personale già dai messaggi su booking, possibilità di scelta della camera anche se quella che ci è stata assegnata di default aveva il bagno non proprio recente e adattato per i diversamente abili, in compenso la stanza era spaziosa. a colazione ho gradito il succo ace e il cappuccino. positiva la possibilità di fare i toast, anche se non li ho presi.

Cons:

colazione poco entusiasmante: cornetti freddi, uova sode fredde, non è stato possibile fare le uova alla coque espresse. mancava la frutta fresca, solo sciroppata. bagno datato e doccia e servizi basici. il parcheggio fuori di ogni stanza è fantastico, soprattutto con la possibilità di caricare l'auto elettrica qualora si avesse, peccato che per utilizzarlo ci vogliano 12€, eccessive a mio conto, ma forse non solo per me perché il parcheggio era vuoto. però comunque c'è la possibilità di parcheggiare nei dintorni gratuitamente.

Great value
Pros:

I recently stayed at this hotel in Piacenza and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Despite Piacenza being a very small city compared to larger destinations like Milan, Bologna, or Verona, this hotel is truly excellent—definitely worthy of being considered among the top three in the area.

I stay at this hotel at least three to four times a year when visiting my relatives, and it consistently delivers a great experience. The rooms are small but very efficient, making great use of space without sacrificing comfort. Breakfast service is decent and gets the job done, and the staff is consistently helpful, even accommodating late arrivals with ease. Their friendliness and availability make a big difference in the stay experience.

One important note: do not confuse this hotel with the Stadio location. The Ovest property is far superior in both location and, likely, infrastructure. I highly recommend choosing Ovest if you're staying in Piacenza.

Good hotel, especially convenient for travellers by car.
Pros:

Very comfortable and clean hotel. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. If travelling by car there is parking and the hotel is conveniently just off the main north-south highway from Milan to Bologna, Florence et al.

I have stayed here many times, and continue to return. Rooms are well equipped, and comfortable.

I didn't have a car this time, but noted that the hotel now has EV charging points.

A lovely night in Italy
Pros:

Everything was great. We liked it very much. Next time we will be around the city we will definitely stay in this place. Breakfast was delicious. Stuff very friendly, hopefully and nice.
