Clean hotel, I loved it. Loved the people and and the environment. The rooms were clean and I love the fact that they have a pool. What I didn’t like is the fridge so small that my 1,5 litre of water couldn’t enter

This hotel is in an absolutely spectacular location and is situated in beautifully kept gardens which include an stunning outdoor pool.
However - we were extremely disappointed with our room. There was continuous, ongoing construction all around it and even within the ceiling space above our bathroom. Concrete dust was prevalent and air conditioning was not functional.
Breakfast was not included in our room rate and at a cost of 25 Euros per person, it too was disappointing for this price.

So near an excellent hotel…. but!
Pros:

Lovely classic hotel but the service lacks. Two attempts to fix a noisy bathroom fan both failed, no apology and theres a lack of good customer service generally. Some staff are polite and friendly others can’t raise a smile. Hot breakfast items were poor and stone cold, other breakfast items very good.
Easily rectified issues but can they be bothered?

The hotel is next to the lake and a short walk from the station. The foyer and rooms are beautiful with the most amazing views. Everything is spotlessly clean. We loved that there is an indoor and outdoor pool. We didn't eat at the hotel as tgere

Amazing stay!
Pros:

This property is gorgeous. The suite and pool was amazing. The view was breathtaking, pictures don’t do it justice. The staff was very friendly, too. Perfect place for a couples getaway.

The hotel is charming and in a beautiful location. Some parts of the hotel are run down and let the rest down. These are the indoor pool and the gym.

A little bit hard to move around without a car, so I suggest you rent one, or be ready to spend a few hundred euros in taxis!

The location is nice, the view on the lake is amazing. The room were small and the electrical plug was pretty far away from the bed.

There's a horizontal elevator that brings you to the other section of the hotel.

The staff at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. We got stuck in Arona due to a train strike and managed to get a room at Hotel Bristol and the staff helped us arrange transportation to Milan the next day so we can continue on with our journey. Hotel was really nice, although past its heyday. A really different feature is the “elevator” that moves like a train. Room was very clean, not enough bathroom
Amenities. Location was right across Lake Maggiore and walkable from the bus station.
