We had 3 rooms and all were perfectly clean, functional and updated.

Quando visitiamo Pallanza alloggiamo sempre in questo hotel perché ha una posizione invidiabile sul lungolago ed inoltre è possibile prenotare il posto auto coperto. Stanza molto spaziosa con vista lago e pulizia impeccabile.

Pros:

Seule la situation et la vue magnifique sur Isola Bella ont été au RDV. Sinon, standing très en dessous d’un 4 étoiles. Petit déjeuner médiocre mais responsable charmante et attentionnée. Pas de hall d’accueil agréable. Aucun endroit où « s’isoler » par exemple pour lire. Chambre au décor minimaliste. Et cerise sur le gâteau, le parking consiste en fait dans des places dans le domaine public qui reviennent à 17€ alors qu’un stationnement par Easy Park revient à 5,75€. De plus une semaine avant le 15 août, impossibilité absolue de trouver une place. Il faut alors prendre son risque, ce qui, en période de vacances n’est pas très agréable.

An absolutely fantastic stay, directly adjacent to the ferry terminal, with excellent views over the lake, and a great breakfast. I like that Verbania is less full of tourists than Stresa, but still has a wonderful waterfront, great restaurants, etc.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location
Pros:

Stayed at the Belvedere for 2 nights while visiting Lago Maggiore. The hotel is facing the lake and we had a beautiful lake view room. It is also soooo conveniently located right across from where the ferry takes you to the various islands. My Italian cousin was impressed with my choice. The hotel breakfast was excellent and lots of restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!

Pros:

Despite the outward experience of a once grand hotel, this is at most a three star hotel. The interiors, furnishings and furniture (judging from our room and the public areas) all seemed a bit worn and inexpensive and the place could use a refresh. That said, the staff were all extremely nice and helpful.
