We trained for Catania to Taormina - then bust from Station to last stop at bus Terminal - The walkway (and elevators) to the Hotel is from the Bus Stop car park - Easy walk into town or to the chairlift to the Beach. Comfortable spacious room with comfy beds. We stayed in the Palazzo Santa Caterina. Very generous breakfast > walk to the far end and get a window table to capture the views
We couldn't see the water from our room.
The hotel was very central and made Taormina town easily accessible, it was also close to the beach cable cart and the bus rank. The hotel also had a very pretty exterior and lovely dinner and pool views.
The breakfast buffet was okay but some of the food was quite dry and bland. I found the staff quite unfriendly and unwilling to help which was my main issue with this hotel.

Muy caro el parking, un poco viejo el hotel y en mal estado para ser un 4 estrellas
The location, the friendly staff especially the breakfast staff, the pool area and the room was larger than expected with a spectacular view of the Ionian Sea
La struttura è in una bellissima posizione, comoda per raggiungere il centro in pochi minuti ed anche la funicolare. Personale molto gentile e camera spaziosa
La struttura è un po' vecchio stile, avrebbe bisogno di essere rinnovata per sfruttare al massimo tutte le sue potenzialità. Basterebbe poco per renderla davvero perfetta

Parcheggio al prezzo di 25 euro (non indicato al momento della prenotazione), camera estremamente rumorosa a causa della colonna di scarico adiacente e non insonorizzata (ad ogni sciacquone tirato pare di avere una cascata sopra il letto - una volta segnalato alla reception la risposta è stata semplicemente “è normale, è un problema di tutta la struttura”

Colazione molto varia ma nel complesso di scarsa qualità (caffè fatto con macchinetta)

The hotel is dated and although I booked as an individual is basically a package holiday hotel, which I was not aware of.
