Excellent, centrally based hotel!!!
Pros:

The hotel was in an excellent location near to Piazza Santa Maria Novella and the train station. Walking distance to local tourist locations. The staff and communication prior to arrival was excellent also. The hotel is rustic, and lovely inside, the rooms were clean and the linen and towels changed regularly. We were 6 adults on a trip to the 6 Nations so fior us the hotel was perfect as a base. We would definitely book again. Thank you for a great stay.

Cons:

The toilets were a bit on the small size, however, they were very clean and tidy.

Great Location
Pros:

We really liked the room, it was spacious. The hotel is superbly located; you can easily reach all of Florence's attractions from there. You have to go up some stairs to access the hotel with your luggage, but they tell you this when you book. The only downside was that everything was full when we arrived, so we had to leave our luggage at reception until check-in, but other than that we had no major problems.

Clean, convenient, and courteous
Pros:

The hotel is located conveniently close to the Santa Maria Novella train station: it’s about a 10 minute walk. Some of the major sites such as the. Duomo, Uffizi, etc. also are close nearby. If you are self catering, know ye that there are many small grocery stores within a few minutes walk. The rooms are quite adequate and the staff is quite helpful with things like arranging a taxi back to the station if you have heavy bags. The €12 continental breakfast is OK, and can save you valuable time in the morning until you discover something else on your walks. Molte grazie!
