The hostess when I arrived was very pleasant and gave me all the necessary maps and information I would need. The breakfast staff mainly was good and quick to get you situated, The location was a little bit of a walk (15min) from the city center but only a little (5min) for a ski rental store and Spinale lift. The shuttle driver for the hotel was on point everyday. It was a wellness hotel (spa, pool, etc.) The room had a balcony so you could assess the weather each morning.
The picture on booking.com of the single room with the bed in the middle was not what I got, but it is what I was expecting for over 200/night! When I received my bill at the end of my stay because extras are charged to your room there was a 17 euro glass of spremuta di frutta (orange juice) on it, should've known when they didn't give a menu with prices, but I never would've thought it would be that HIGH!!! The owner (his picture was in the hallways) acted as if he wasn't there to assist the guests, and would kind of just shrug off when I was trying to get info on the summit conditions (weather).
Good breakfast buffet but we were not told that we could have different kinds of eggs if we asked. Only found out the last morning. Maybe a little note on the breakfast tables could resolve that?
Shuttle service works well.
Single room has all it needs but it can feel a bit cramped. Clean.
The rooms are very badly isolated so even if your neighbours are quiet, you will still hear everything and the doors make a lot of noise when closing. Makes it impossible to sleep a little longer. Unfortunate.
It's nice to have a little snack available when you come back from the slopes but it was always the same and not very tasty compared to other hotels I have stayed in in MdC.
Equipe super atenciosa. Optei por comprar os jantares junto com a estadia, valeu muito a pena. Restaurante excelente. Hotel silencioso e aconchegante. O depósito para esqui é muito bom. Serviço de van para levar para as pistas funciona perfeitamente, melhor que ficar em hotel ski in/ ski out.

The hotel has a very nice location, very quiet and surrounded by nature, it’s a 10/15 mins walk only from the center.
Very nice and available staff, the hotel is very well organized with a private transport service that drives you to the main ski lifts in a couple of minutes.
Nice and cozy wellness spa area, very good continental breakfast and restaurant.
The only little thing is the hairdryer in the rooms which is a bit old so it takes some time above all for women to dry hair.
Overall, excellent structure and great staff, I will surely go back.
The hotel has a very special atmosphere. The owners and staff are very hospitable and helpful. The special thank you should go to the hotel's restaurant. Every day we couldn't wait to eat delicious meals and have a lovely chat with the people working there. Thank you for making our stay perfect!
This is not a hotel for people who expect modern luxury - this is a family owned hotel with the history, heritage and soul, run by the family's next generation. The owners work in the hotel on a daily basis and all the staff are very friendly towards the guests. The staff has very warm and individual approach.
Location in the city but off the beaten track on a quiet street. Hotel in an Italian mountain style, well-maintained and very clean.
Excellent and varied food for dinners (top among our experience). Wellness area available for guests - ideal for relaxing after skiing (incl. indoor swimming pool and outdoor sauna and Jacuzzi).
On request, a ski bus takes guests to 3 stations in the town.
An exception was made for us and we were allowed to come with a small dog - thank you.
Overall we had a great week at Hotel Gianna and would love to return in the future. We highly recommend.
Interesting fact, the hotel chosen by the Scuderia Ferrari F1 team (incl. Michael Schumacher, Kimi Räikkönen, Fernando Alonso) when staying in Madonna di Campiglio for the Wroom event. At least 10 F1 drivers world champions, which is probably a very good result among hotels :)
My husband and I had a perfect 5-night stay at Hotel Gianna! Check-in was very easy and convenient, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They helped us navigate the town and mountains, and were always available to answer all of our questions. The hotel offers a discount for ski rentals at the shop just down the road - which also delivers your equipment directly to the hotel so you don't have to carry it. The hotel has ski lockers with boot warmers, which were such a nice touch! There's a free shuttle from the hotel that takes you to the slopes and picks you back up at the end of the day. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the center of town, and there are also a few restaurants just a few minutes away. Not to mention the hotel's restaurant, which is a great option! We had dinner there one night and it was definitely one of our best meals of the trip. We also had massages at the spa while we were there, which were so relaxing. Overall, we can't recommend Hotel Gianna enough, and will definitely be staying here again next time we're in town!
