Short break in a beautiful hotel with very attentive hosts.
Pros:

This well run hotel boasts beautiful sea views over the bay. Our bedroom was large, cool and tastefully decorated with a balcony overlooking the sea. The staff were very welcoming, professional and went out of their way to rearrange our booking after cancelled flights into Catania due to volcanic activity.

Pros:

Hotel La Pensione Svizzera is beautiful hotel in a fantastic location to the main centre of Taormina. The breakfast is exceptional and has everything to offer with wonderful views of the sea.
The staff were super friendly and the little extras like free daily beach towels and a jar of marmalade as a leaving gift made it even more special. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect location
Pros:

The hotel's location is ideal, just a short walk from the town center and the cable car that goes to the beach. The service was excellent. I recommend booking parking in advance directly with the hotel. While the rooms were slightly old-fashioned, they were still pleasant and had a balcony. The breakfast was delicious.

La struttura si trova in una posizione top, a pochissimi passi dal corso principale, ideale per girare comodamente a piedi. Il personale è incredibilmente gentile e disponibile, sempre attento a ogni nostra esigenza e pronto a dare ottimi consigli.La pulizia delle camere è impeccabile: gli ambienti sono confortevoli e dotati di tutti i comfort necessari per un relax totale. Il momento più bello? La colazione in terrazza, un ottimo risveglio con una vista splendida e prodotti di qualità.

Wonderful little hotel in the best location in Taormina
Pros:

We travelled to Sicily when Mount Etna was erupting and the airport was shut, so arrived at this lovely little hotel after an epic journey of trains and boats and buses across Italy! We had two twin rooms ‘without view’ but actually they had lovely little balconies and everything we needed, fridge, water, toiletries etc. The hotel is in the best possible location with gorgeous views over the bay at breakfast time. It was right by the bus terminal and the cable car and a minute from the Main Street. The staff were very kind and helpful, and sorted us with taxis and beach clubs etc. I would definitely stay again, we had a lovely time!

Good hotel in great location. We had a lovely tine.
Pros:

Great location. Hotel not too big. Staff friendly. Close to cable car. Sea view from room and bar/restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Would stay again.

Cons:

Nothing. There is no parking but there is a car park a short walk away - if you are lucky enough to get a space! We left our car for the entirety of our stay. The hotel is very convenient to walk anywhere and you can take the cable car to the beach.

Le personnel est très agréable et accueillant ! L’hôtel est très propre ! Le petit déjeuner est inclus et bien garnis, il y en a pour tout les goûts ! La localisation de l’hôtel est parfait, directement dans le centre ! Petit + car le personnel parlait français !

Very nice stay, all of the staff were very nice.
Pros:

The location was amazing, it was steps away from the funivia down to the beach, very close to town and bonus very close to the bus terminal, where we caught the bus up to Castelmola for the afternoon (don't miss this!).

Cons:

There wasn't anything I didn't like.
