Overall, we had a great experience staying at La Pensione Svizzera and would definitely recommend it!
Pros:

The Hotel had a lovely atmosphere, the staff was always very welcoming and kind. The rooms were clean and had all the necessary features. One particularly positive aspect is the breakfast, with a big variety of fresh sweet and savoury options. Freshly made coffee is also served at your wish. The view from the terrace adds to the amazing experience. The location is just within a few minutes walking distance from the Porta Messina and the old town of Taormina.

A wonderful stay with stunning sea views and excellent hospitality!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Pensione Svizzera and truly enjoyed every moment!

Our room was very comfortable, with a beautiful sea view that made our stay even more special. The location is absolutely perfect – just a short walk from both the cable car to the beach and the historic town centre, yet in a quieter and more peaceful part of Taormina.

The breakfasts were excellent, with a generous selection of delicious food and wonderful, attentive service. It was such a lovely way to start each morning!

A special thank you to the reception team, who were always incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. They were happy to answer our questions, offer recommendations and help us make the most of our time in Taormina.

We felt very comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. A charming hotel with a lovely atmosphere, a fantastic location and genuinely kind people.

We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taormina! ❤️

Perfect location walking distance to everything in the city center. Gorgeous property and we enjoyed our large terrace with a sea view. So many delicious breakfast options and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Loved everything. Would stay here again.

Extremely charming, romantic spot. Old-fashioned in a very lovely way!
Pros:

This place is extremely charming and very beautiful. The location is ideal. The staff were so lovely, and there was even a super convenient parking spot available from the hotel, directly in front, for a reasonable price. (Parking in Taormina is scarce, so we did not expect this.) The room was not big, but it was beautifully designed, with a very high ceiling, and a sweet balcony overlooking the sea.
