The lobby is on the 2nd floor of the building. There are around 30 steps to take before you get to the small elevator that takes you up to lobby.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful – especially Lorenzo, Andrea, and Monte. Our room 16 had an amazing view of the Duomo! Very large rooms – especially considering the hotel is in a very old and charming building. Yes there are stairs , but Lorenzo helped us carry our large suitcases until reaching the elevator. Our flight was cancelled so we needed to stay another night and Monte ( or Andrea?) was super friendly and juggled other rooms around so he could put us in a huge 4 person room at the last minute. They took care of all the luggage and got the room ready for us early. These people are the best and really care about their guests. We stayed at the hotel 2 different times over 2 weeks and would book again without hesitation.
Ubicacion perfecta, buen desayuno no suculento pero pasable, en cuanto a los ascensores pequeños pero se mantubieron funcionando mientras estubimos ahi, lo recomiendo.
Para ser sinsero estubimos dos dias y casi no paraba en el solo para dormir y no tengo quejas del lugar.

Room and bathroom were excellent . Staff was excellent
Didn’t like steps, elevator, mosquitos in the room. The second the guy showed us the mosquito thing for the room, we decided to leave. Elevator was too tiny.
It was so close to the river, specifically the Ponte Vecchio. Breakfast was great.
The walk up to the first floor and the tiny lift - although, I realise nothing can be done about those due to the age of the building.

Localização excelente e equipe muito simpática e atenciosa. Muito bom que eles oferecem convênio com um estacionamento próximo ao Hotel, para quem está de carro.
Muitas escadas para chegar até a recepção e quarto. O elevador disponível era somente a partir do segundo andar, tinha que subir um lance grande de escadas com malas pesadas, e o elevador era minúscula, cabia apenas as malas, e não cabiam pessoas junto. Era difícil operar o elevador.

La struttura è molto centrale, situata al secondo piano di un palazzo, a cui si può accedere anche con un piccolo ascensore. Lo staff gentile e molto disponibile.

The hotel was very comfortable and great location , very good staff , only reason I’m giving 8 it’s because the stairs , it’s located at third floor and for families with bags it’s hard , other than that , very good

Our bathroom shower leaked on the bathroom floor and into the bedroom. We were not given the option to move rooms and the they made no attempt to fix the leak
We chose The Alessandra over a more modern hotel, because we were in Italy to experience its history. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, the location was ideal, and the property was clean and beautiful.
