Great service and amazing views.
Pros:

The service and staff, really friendly and helpful and good attitudes, especially in the restaurant.
The views of the ocean, spectacular, great to wake up to.
Great housekeeping service, kept rooms clean and tidy.

Cons:

I wouldn't say "didn't like", it seems harsh, but:
Overall fairly expensive.
Location was a bit out of town, but we did not have a car and also had a baby in a buggy. Would be OK if you have a car, but would have to deal with parking.

Ett trivsamt hotell med vackert läge, både för sport och avkoppling.
Pros:

Hotellet ligger vackert ovanför havet, vidunderlig restaurang-terass, egen naturstrand, men även ett poolområde, med en riktig simbassäng.

Med vattensporter, tennis, välutrustat gym, vandringar och cykling, upplever jag hotellet sportigt, på ett bra sätt.

Mycket bra cykeluthyrning med kunnig och hjälpsam personal.

Det finns också stora ytor för avkoppling vid naturstranden, poolområdet och i hotellet. Uppskattar schäslongerna i lobbyn, skönt att vila från solen i skuggan där inne.

Rummen är välstädade, duscharna har ordentligt tryck och sängarna är sköna.

Frukostbuffén är mycket bra, kaffet görs av en barista, sedan den fina terassen med havet och morgonsolen, så underbart vackert.

Cons:

Överlag är servicen bra, städning, personalen i restaurangen vid frukost, lunch och middag.

Jag upplevde inte att personalen i lobbyn gav mig det intresse, med information och bemötande, en ny gäst kan förvänta sig.

Något av ett välkomnande, en vilja att hjälpa till.

Den personal som mötte mig var mer intresserad av sin egen telefon än mig som ny gäst.

Den äldre personalen vid lobbyn var trevligare och mer serviceinriktade.

Superbe hôtel avec vue imprenable
Pros:

La vue superbe, avec un petit balcon.
Grande chambre confortable, salle de bain moderne.
Le parking, très rare à Cefalu, et pas facile de se garer ailleurs.

Cons:

Peur de pression d’eau pour la douche.

Good value hotel
Pros:

Hotel was very clean, gym was very good, breakfast was very nice. Access to the beach was good and walking distance (30) to old town.

Cons:

There were lots of works ongoing in the hotel. Some parts are modernised/renovated and others not so it’s a bit of a mix. Receptionist told us a bus went to the Old Town from outside. We waited at the bus stop, but nothing came - turns out the bus doesn’t leave from there!

Schönes Hotel mit Aussicht aufs Meer
Pros:

Das Hotel Kalura ist ein schönes Hotel am Meer mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht. Es gibt einen Schwimmingpool und einen Strand. Der Ort Cefalu ist etwa 20 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Wir haben das Frühstück sehr geschätzt.

Die Terrasse wurde renoviert, kein Zugang zum Meer . Das Hotel eigene Restaurant war gut , aber auch teuer. Freundliches Personal .

The only thing making this a four star hotel is the view/location
Pros:

The view and beach club were wonderful.

Cons:

I would not consider this a four star hotel, the shower tile had mold and the shower did not drain properly. The bed had a comforter that was clearly not washed between guests. The walls were also dirty and the whole hotel felt like it was not well maintained. I’m sure this was truly a four star hotel 30 years ago but not anymore.
