The decor, the staff, well equipped rooms - we hat the snug so very small but any available space was used well to allow for storing, hanging or placing things.
Shower was lovely!

While there is an elevator, there are lots of stairs in the hallways, even when you get to your floor...its an old building, so anticipate carrying your luggage up and down some stairs. There was no air conditioning in my room. I arrived at the end of the heat wave so it was tolerable but in the middle of the heatwave it would be very warm.

London was experiencing some warm summer weather, the heatwave had passed and the outdoor temperature was around 22 Celsius. However, our room reached temperatures exceeding 27 Celsius. The duty of care of the hotel was poor. A fan circulating thick air did nothing to cool the room. The windows barely opened more than 10cm and no air was able to get in. The bathroom floor felt like underfloor heating was on. Our sleep was significantly disrupted due to the extremely uncomfortable heat of our room. The staff did not offer further fans, a change of room or hire an AC unit to help with the situation., rather calmly explained it was a listed building unable to install AC. The room was so uncomfortable we paid to move to another hotel....strangely a listed building with fabulous AC. DO NOT BOOK HERE DURING SUMMER MONTHS.
We had booked a large room, the room was small. No space to hang clothes. The room was dimly lit, unable to see properly to get ready for the day. I was unable to use the hairdryer as the extra heat would have been unbearable. The cold shower was a great relief.

No air conditioning. Rooms are way to small

Unbearably hot. Stayed during a heatwave and the bedrooms and upstairs areas were uncomfortable to be in they were so hot. Hotel provided a fan but this made no difference.
The size of the room is small but the size of the bathroom is unacceptable. The shower entrance is so tight for an average person, as a pregnant person it was almost unusable.
No lift or offer of assistance with bags, no checkout time information in room.
Housekeeping knocked on the room next door and had a loud conversation outside of the room at 6:15am.

Room did not have air conditioning and only window opened 2inches so with it being a hot day in London the room was sweltering.

Hotelli oli vanhassa rakennuksessa jossa on tosi kapeat käytävät jotka kiemurtelevat epäloogisesti. Pettymys oli suuri kun huoneissa ei ollut minkäänlaista ilmastointia, etenkin kun Lontoossa oli ennätyshelteet, ainoastaan sähköinen tuuletin. Ei lapsiperheille eikä liikuntarajoitteisille.

It was warm when we were there and I didn't pay attention to the fact that there was no air conditioning in our room

Très très cher pour ce que c'est. Une minuscule chambre avec 2 cintres pour tout rangement. Une chambre non climatisée ou il faisait une chaleur étouffante. Une salle de bain sans même une petite tablette pour mettre les trousses de toilettes qui ont été par terre tout le séjour et que dire de la douche avec pour toute pression un minuscule filet d'eau qui ne permettait même pas de se laver les cheveux. Nous l'avons signalé mais rien n'a été fait. A 250 euros la nuit on s'attend a mieux!!!!!

We knew the room was small, it was cozy though slightly uncomfortable because of the size. We also would have loved to have more of a view.

Absolutely unbearable rooms in the heat wave. Our room was at the front street and the sun shone in the window all day. There was no air con. We had to stay out of the room as much as we could as it wasn’t bearable to sit in it even at night.
