Charm, comfort, outstanding service, and the perfect location—simply exceptional. The Perfect Parisian Boutique Hotel
Pros:

From the moment we arrived, Hotel de Fleurie delivered the quintessential Parisian boutique hotel experience.

The location is simply outstanding. Nestled in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, you’re surrounded by charming cafés, lively bars, and beautiful streets that buzz with life from morning until late into the evening. The atmosphere is nothing short of magical.

The hotel itself is elegant, intimate, and full of Parisian charm. Breakfast was exceptional and served in a beautiful stone-vaulted cellar that felt like a historic Parisian cave, complete with artwork and cozy bistro tables. The croissants, brioche French toast, eggs, thick yogurt, coffee, and fresh juices were all outstanding.

Yes, the rooms and bathrooms are compact—as expected in central Paris—but the high ceilings, classic French windows, and lovely street views made the room feel bright, spacious, and full of character. The room was also well-equipped with modern amenities, including a fridge, coffee machine, TV, hairdryer, and ample wardrobe space.

The inviting lobby, complimentary water and cakes throughout the day, and the elegant sitting room with books, sofas, and chess sets were thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home.

What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its exceptional staff. Asma, Karen, Rose, Vincent, Floreant, and Mohamed each went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their warmth, professionalism, local knowledge, and genuine kindness were second to none.

We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Hotel de Fleurie to anyone looking for an authentic, elegant, and unforgettable Paris experience.

Cons:

One small suggestion for improvement would be to consider replacing the glass shower screen with a full shower curtain. The current glass panel allows some water to splash onto the bathroom floor during showers. It certainly wasn’t a major issue and didn’t detract from our stay, but it’s a simple enhancement that could make the bathroom experience even more comfortable for future guests.

Very comfortable small hotel in wonderful part of the Left Bank
Pros:

Perfect location, charming old building. Comfortable and quiet room, air conditioning that handled the heatwave well, pleasant and helpful staff.

Cons:

Needed a bit of room maintenance. TV remote batteries were flat. No grab rail to help getting in and out of rather high bath.

Period 18th Century with a Boho Twist! Great location, room, and staff
Pros:

This hotel is in an excellent location in the Latin Quarter, and it is so charming inside. It is beautifully decorated with period details, an 18th century building with a boho twist. The staff is so friendly and helpful. In the lounge area, there’s complimentary tea, coffee, lemonade, and cake to enjoy while people-watching through the windows. We enjoyed delicious breakfast at the hotel and were steps away from multiple restaurants, cafes, metro stops and bus stops. Just a 10-15min walk away from Notre Dame and the Seine. Would highly recommend this hotel.

disappointment
Pros:

the location

Cons:

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations.

The hotel is very old and appears to be poorly maintained. The bathroom, in particular, looks extremely worn out and because of its condition it gives the impression of being dirty, even if it has been cleaned.

The room layout is not practical at all. It lacks thoughtful ergonomics, making the room inconvenient and uncomfortable to use.

Breakfast was one of the biggest disappointments. The selection was extremely limited, basically just eggs and coffee. Breakfast is ordered from a menu, but by 8:00 a.m. almost everything was already unavailable every single day. The only options left were scrambled eggs or an omelet, which is simply unacceptable.

The reception staff were very kind, welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, the breakfast staff were the exact opposite. They were unfriendly and made us feel as though serving guests was an inconvenience.

Another major issue is the construction work directly across from the hotel. The noise starts as early as 6:00 a.m. and continues throughout the day. According to the hotel manager, there is currently no expected completion date for the construction, which significantly affects the overall guest experience.

Overall, the hotel's location is good, but the poor maintenance, disappointing breakfast, unfriendly breakfast staff and constant construction noise made our stay far less enjoyable than expected.

Charming Boutique Hotel in a Great Location
Pros:

Great location and helpful staff. Small rooms compared to the US, but that's the norm for Europe! Quiet at night even though we were in the heart of everything and very close to two metro stops and bus stops. Highly recommend
