Hôtel de l'Amphithéâtre

Charming old building near the Amphitheatre (as you'd expect). Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room on ground floor. Only problem was lack of storage: a short hanging rail but no drawers or cupboards, which would have been awkward if we'd been staying for longer than two nights. Good breakfast with particularly good coffee.

The hotel was a great location, but rooms smelled like mildew, don’t know if that’s because the building is so old or what. The bed was just ok and there was hardly any storage for clothes etc. we stayed in room 3 so maybe other rooms were better, but we had friends staying in another room and they also didn’t have much storage either. Loved Arles, but would stay somewhere else next time.

Reduced room size but that is the way rooms in the old city are here and all Europe.

Hotel is set in a beautiful old building. A bit of a hike from the train station, but otherwise convenient. Staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful.

No elevator. Narrow stairs.

LIKE: the bathroom was clean and large. The room was roomy and bright. It had a safe. The air conditioning worked well and there was a heater in the bathroom.
DISLIKED: it had two single beds instead of a double. The sounds from the street could be heard very clearly, especially when the hotel clerk stood under our window to smoke and speak loudly on his cell or to hold a lengthly conversation with another worker.
We slept well. The most important thing. We were in the extension across the street.

The property is an anti que building well maintaied and beautifully decorated.

We loved our stay at this charming boutique hotel near many historical sites in Arles. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

A big thank you to Noel and the team for taking such good care of me on this trip! I felt welcomed, and cared for! I cannot say more about Arles in general as the people here have been exceptionally kind and genuine. So thank you! If I do come back to Arles in the future, I would most definitely stay here and in the very same room. Merci beacoup!

L'accueil est exceptionnel, l'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal, à 2-3 minutes à pied des endroits à visiter, il n'y a pas de bruit, bref l'hôtel idéal.

Lovely old building in the heart of the city nucleus. Please note that you cannot drive right up to the hotel — you need to walk a few blocks to arrive at your destination.

n at the front desk helped me with many suggestions for food, tours and even helped me repack an antique for my travels .. I consider them a friend.. if you need a hotel that treats you as a friend… This is your hotel

Located next to the historic Roman coliseum in Arles, staying at Hotel del’Amphiteatre is both a treat and memorable experience, at a bargain price.

Need to park in the public lot and bring your ticket for a reduced rate. GPS will not work to find the hotel. Need to GPS to the parking lot. Great hotel, great location. Would stay here again.

Loved every minute of it. Beautiful suite and so close to everything.
