Excellent place to stay near the castle in Ferrara.
Pros:

It was spacious and well equipped. It was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and the staff was helpful and pleasant.

Pros:

Posizione strategica, veramente comoda con il centro, i luoghi di interesse e le fermate dei bus. Staff gentilissimo. Colazione abbondante e varia. Torte deliziose.

Excellent in Every Way
Pros:

I highly recommend Hotel de Prati. The staff were excellent, so thoughtful, friendly, and hugely helpful.

Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good indeed.

Degno soggiorno per visitare ed entrare in armonia con la deliziosa Ferrara
Pros:

Arredato con discreta eleganza, e in armonia con l’atmosfera del centro storico della città.
Camera (singola) con gli spazi giusti; materasso e cuscino da sogni d’oro.
Personale affabile e molto disponibile.
Il castello Estense e l’inizio di Corso Ercole I letteralmente dietro l’angolo (Palazzo dei Diamanti 5 minuti a piedi).
A qualche centinaio di metri anche Via Cavour che conduce dritta alla Stazione Treni.
Perfetto per visitare la città.

Nice people run it but it needs a major overhaul to be 3*
Pros:

Location and size of suite, Very clean with a perfect daily service to freshen room. Separate fridge for your stuff. Very quiet

Cons:

Worst telephone booth shower of my 50 years of travel. The smallest queen bed ever, with a lumpy mattress. Old, Goodwill furniture and cheap,cheap amenities like soap/TP no Kleenex, b'fast was mediocre. We paid about 160Euro/n for their best large room... it was such a disappointment in many aspects, and my wife complained for the entire 6 days we were there.
