Charming, central hotel with a genuinely welcoming team
Pros:

Lovely hotel in a very central location, ideal for exploring the city.
The team are exceptionally welcoming. One member of staff took the time to tell me about the Este family and the history of the Erculean Addition, which added a really personal and memorable touch to my stay.
The rooms are spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. The en suite was well equipped and well lit, making it very practical as well as comfortable.
Breakfast was generous and well presented, with a good selection to start the day.
Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money, a perfect location, and an incredibly friendly, engaging team.

A memorable stay in a small hotel that felt like home. A really nice home in a stunning city!
Pros:

Great location. The room was huge and had a patio with an umbrella. It felt authentic and homey. The staff was friendly and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and gave great recommendations. Breakfast was amazing and fresh. Great caffe too.

Cons:

There was absolutely nothing we would have changed.

Comfortable beds, great cafe adjacent to the hotel, within a few blocks from everything I wanted to see.
Pros:

So close to everything! What a treat to stay there!

Cons:

Small elevator- but I guess that’s typical in an older setting.

We had a lovely stay and were comfortable for the short visit.
Pros:

The location was excellent to explore Ferrara and the local area. The staff were very helpful to us and answered any queries we had especially in regards to parking. The breakfast was lovely with a nice choice. Room was large and comfortable.

Cons:

I think the overall experience was great! Perhaps a little cleaner in areas of the room.

The suite was gorgeous, comfortable, quiet and spacious in a beautiful old building. the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the location was perfect and the breakfast was very good. Thank you for a wonderful stay in this small, family-run gem of a hotel.

Cons:

We could have had more time to stay there as it was so nice!
