Granted, hotel rooms in Europe are small but this place was built in mid eval times. Nothing is plum. The shower is microscopic. My bed slanted and feet extended over the edge. It is convenient but not worthy of such a high recommendation from Expedia without better warning of the condition of this place. The bed wasn’t horse hair, luckily but it is that old and of that era..

The property is not fancy, but very practical and suitable. It makes up for it in the location.

Beautiful hotel in the most perfect location! Traditionally decorated, super comfy and clean and great breakfast. Ignore any bad reviews, I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would happily return.

Hôtel was near as a pin, clean, and well decorated. The staff was kind and courteous.

Loved our stay here. Location was perfect, easy to walk to all of the places we wanted to go. Room was so cute and clean. Had everything we needed! Would definitely stay here again in the future.

It’s the obviously not a usual American hotel chain. It’s a cozy hotel with elevator. It’s perfect location and quiet. In 30 minutes we visited several famous locations while walking ( we weren’t expecting so many and so close to the hotel). Room was very small and cozy especially for American standards. Bathroom was clean. Very unique design, very French. Our room had adjoining balcony with other room with little table and chairs. Hotel organized for us pick up from airport and to back to airport which was very convenient especially when we don’t speak French language. Breakfast was available. We did enjoy the stay.

Great location!!! Hotel was decent, nothing too great but worth the the money. Shower was fine. Could open the windows to get fresh air. Staff was nice

Rooms and showers are too small, there are no power points for devices (we had to unplug a lamp to charge our phones). Sudenly the alarm started beeping (and were not informed why) we had to leave immediately as that was too noisy. But the worse was we stayed almos 24 hours with no WiFi. A tourist cannot survive with no WiFi. Some staff are friendly, some others indifferent.

Very close to Louvre Museum, walking distance. Just a few steps from underground station and affordable food market and cafes. Walking distance to Notre Dame. Important, very helpful hotel staff

This historic hotel is a gem, hidden on a tiny street just off Rue Rivoli. It’s quiet, charming, and very convenient to so many attractions; the Louvre, Les Halles, Metro station, shopping, dining, My room was a good size and had all the modern conveniences necessary. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stagf

Lovely old hotel in a great area. If you’re looking for a stay in a vintage Paris hotel, this place fires the bill. Just remember it’s not going to have all the conveniences of a modern hotel. We loved our stay!

Property is fine but dated, it's Paris. 5 minutes from Notre Dame and close to Chatelet metro station. Hidden away in an alley but easy to find.

A couple of things that could be improved. Better hair driers and more than 1 functional electrical outlet in the room

This hotel oozes charm and character. It's not new, but I gave the property 5 stars because it felt cozy, warm and FRENCH! I live in a modern city, so for a change, I wanted the tiny elevator, the narrow winding stairs, the vintage furniture, wallpaper and velvet pillows. It was lovely. Every person I met who worked there was extremely kind, polite and patient. I even liked the old fashioned keys you leave at the desk. I was very comfortable and the neighborhood was safe. The bar/restaurant next door was wonderful. I like to walk everywhere and the location was central and convenient. I'm not a morning person so I didn't have breakfast, but it was available. You can pay for it one day at a time. I thought the price was very reasonable. I'm so glad I stayed there.
