Really warm staff. The place is spotless and run really well. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, quiet hotel with really kind and helpful staff. Great for a tourist only using the hotel to sleep and shower before going out for the day - very well connected travel wise and close to the Seine. Had a late flight when leaving and the staff were able to keep my suitcase until the evening so I didn’t have to worry about any of those ones for hire in the city.

Great for a solo traveler. Everything is very practical and tidy. Location is central and right next to République and Temple metro stops. One thing is you have to leave the key at the reception every time you step out, but it's a good way to get to know the friendly staff.

If you're stuck in Paris for any reason and looking for a comfortable, charming spot to lay low, this is definitely a decent choice. Located a stone's throw from Place de la Republique, the hotel is close to multiple metro lines and is located in an area with plenty to do. While the hotel itself may be a little outdated in its furnishings, the building still has its charm, and the staff is extremely pleasant. I always came back to a clean room, and there was plenty of space for my things. All in all, a good stay.

Very convenient location and ok for a couple of nights.

Perfect for a one-night stay. My brother and I got a twin room, and the twin beds are teeny, but again, it was a one night stay. It's old-fashioned but very clean, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Great location near the Place de la République, the Marais, Canal St. Martin, etc.

Nice location, close to metro entrance. My room was kinda like being in the attic. Skylight for a window. Property wss a bit worn.

Very pleased with this hotel. Check-in went smooth and location was close to restaurants, bakeries and the metro. Super helpful staff and room had a great view.

The best asset of this hotel is it's people!
Hotel is very run down . Electric outlets are ripped out of walls; tiles coming off the bathtub; sink was broken; carpet is horribly old and we got TV working only once when one of hotel employees turned it on for us and it stayed all day on (next day we could't turn it on again). Also, we had trouble sleeping with all the noise from outside.Owners need to fix hotel up!!!! Your employees are great at trying to help customers, but condition of the hotel is "sorry".
Will not stay there again.

Reception was good, room safe was locked and they didn't get it open while we were there, so had to check our things at the front desk.
Nice bathroom.

No ceiling fan-it was on a stand.
Could not figure out the TV. ( but I did not ask for help)
Very busy area-but my room was quiet.
2 minute walk to the Metro
Wifi was a bit spotty-but overall good
Staff were pleasant, and I could see they were making an effort with the other guests

Good location with basic amenities for a quick trip to Paris.

The hotel is very close to the Place de la Republique metro station, which is a hub for many metro lines so it's very easy to get around the city. There are plenty of places around to eat and drink. The room was small but perfectly good enough for a long weekend stay with wardrobe, desk and bedside tables. The shower cubicle in the bathroom is a bit tight to get in and out of but the shower itself is very good. Everywhere is spotless. There is always someone on Reception if you need anything. There is a lift.

The building is old but that didn’t matter. The rooms were neat, clean, spacious, and well ventilated. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was good. Location of the hotel was perfect. Less than a minute walk to the subway station.

Good hotel offering comfortable stay in a buzzing neighborhood but in a quiet side street.

Hotel Meslay République is consistent with what one expects of a 3 star hotel in Paris. Its location is extremely convenient with with many buses & 5 metro lines at nearby
Republique. Convenient shopping, (not great) restaurants & cafes, good covered markets & nearby museums etc. Hotel rooms are small
& basic—not comfortable for long stays—but clean & functional. Service is very good & the staff are friendly. I would recommend the hotel for those who will be busy in the centre of Paris for a short stay.

Good location near metro. Quiet. Friendly staff. Good continental breakfast with a good selection of items and pleasant service.

The location was great and the people at the reception desk were very helpful and friendly. The room itself was a little bit tired. The TV and fridge did not work. It was also very hot during our stay so we had to sleep with the window open and the fan on which reduced privacy and introduced a lot of traffic noise as there was no air conditioning.

This was a very pleasant serprise
