Hotel L de Lutece - Notre-Dame

Perfect location - convenient yet quiet , with a very local feel. Bedroom, bathroom and bed were good size and comfortable. The room has a balcony and window that you can open to let fresh air in and even wave to the neighbors having their dinner :) . Groceries, shops and good restaurants are just a few steps away. Staff are very nice, always smiling and helpful. Lovely cake and tea in the afternoons are such a nice touch and so welcoming after a full day of seeing the sights.

Location is perfect and walkable to restaurants and sights. The staff were very kind. The lobby could use a refresh, stained furniture and a very dirty area rug around fireplace area.
The biggest negative was the AC. We were there during a heat wave. We only had a one night stay and before going to bed, I tried moving the AC lower than 21c. After 1/2 hour of trying to troubleshoot it myself, I called the receptionist, and was advised it was locked and not allowed to go lower. It was a stuffy and warm night! Not ideal! We had been at a different hotel a week earlier and the AC worked great. We decided to stay in a different area this time. Breakfast was disappointing, not real croissants, very doughy. The hot chocolate, however, was the best. Very tiny rooms but typical in Paris. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Great location, very clever room design for a small space.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was wonderful, situated on the charming little Île Saint-Louis in the middle of the Seine, just a short walk from Notre-Dame. We loved being slightly removed from the main hustle and bustle of Paris while still being centrally located and able to easily explore the city by bike, Batobus, or on foot.

The area was peaceful and quiet at night, with adorable shops, restaurants, and cafés right nearby. The room wasn’t large, but it was perfect for us—comfortable, cozy, and full of charming vintage character.

We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel. We would happily stay here again on our next visit to Paris!

Sono spesso ospite di questo piccolo albergo sull’Ile Saint Louis, il vero cuore di Parigi, un’isola in mezzo alla Senna dove ci si può prendere una pausa dal frastuono del traffico e dei turisti. Le camere sono piccole, come spesso accade a Parigi, ma arredate con gusto e accoglienti. Unica mancanza è un frigobar in stanza, indispensabile ormai con queste ondate di calore. Personale gentile, prezzi alti come nella media della vita.

My wife and I are from North Carolina and we stayed here about 15 years ago the first time we visited Paris and loved it, and we came back this weekend with our two kids and it was even better than we remembered it. Friendly staff, clean rooms, an ideal location, a lovely breakfast, and comfortable beds. Next time we come back to Paris, the easiest decision we will make is where to stay overnight. It was perfect.

Great location with attractions and restaurants nearby but still peaceful location. Staff very friendly and helpful.
