Hotel Residence Henri IV

Staying at the Hotel Residence Henry IV was like staying with family. The service was superb. It is literally the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in. The room was very comfortable and the bathhroom very modern. The location is excellent to walk, drive or take a train to anywhere in Paris. The breakfast at the hotel (for a small additional payment) had the best selectron of all the petit dejenuers we had in Paris. And we really appreciated the bottle of champagne that appeared in our room at the end of our stay. We will stay at this hotel every tie we go to Paris.

Great service

Loved our stay at the Henri IV. The neighbourhood is wonderful, with a great row of restaurants up around the corner on the way to the Pantheon. Notre Dame and Les Marais is a quick walk across the Seine, and proximity to the metro makes it easy to get around anywhere. The staff was great and always thoughtful, and provided us with a complimentary bottle of champagne after another guest set off the fire alarm at 3am one night. Charming hotel in our favourite arrondissement in Paris.

I wanted to write and commend you all for your wonderful hospitality after our stay last week.

As i told you, i have visited a couple other hotels in your area since i stayed with you in 2018 & 2020, but none could compare to 50 Rue des Bernardins. You have a lovely quiet location, clean and classic chambres and a charming breakfast room with delightful offerings of cheeses, fruits, yogurts, pastries, drink choices and eggs. Your coffee is delicious as well! The staff at breakfast were all so kind and ready to serve. I broke a salt shaker and the lady was ready with the broom and assured me it happens often. I felt terrible but she made me feel better!

I appreciated so much all your assistance with transportation to and from the airport The gentleman you work with to drive are polite, helpful and friendly.

The lovely lady who cleans went out of her way to make our room welcoming to come back in to after a long day of sightseeing and the last day took time to help me get my large suitcase into the elevator.

Truly, i would come back to stay with you all just because of the friendly people, but the place is also just the perfect Parisian boutique hotel. Plenty of shops and cafes close by, but a quiet corner not too crowded with tourists.

We had the best experience at Hotel Residence Henri IV! We loved the room, the breakfast and the location -- on the Left Bank in walking distance to many sights and metro distance to more. But mostly we appreciated the kindness of the staff. Hicham, for example, patiently explained the app for the metro/bus system that actually made figuring out how to get places easy. It's a wonderful hotel!

Location superb at the end of a street - easy access by foot to many attractions. Good selection of nice bistros in less than 1 km radius so there was no need to leave the neighborhood for dinner. The hotel is small but the rooms are more spacious than general in Paris. The kitchenette and nice coffee machine was an extra comfort as well as small balconies with great view.

The team at the Henri IV couldn’t have been more obliging. From the initial welcome to all interactions during our stay, they were all utterly charming and courteous. The room was a generous size, the bed exceptionally comfortable with extra pillows available in the wardrobe. The shower is over the small bath and was very powerful with plenty of hot water. The little kitchenette area was very useful with full size fridge, kettle, coffee maker, induction hob, microwave and two of each tableware. We had booked in to an apartment which turned out to be quite shabby and knocked about. We couldn’t stay for four nights as my husband’s birthday would have been ruined. The Henri IV saved the day. Thank you.
