Great stay and great location. Local feel in the middle of Paris

A localização, espetacular: muito próxima do Jardin du Luxembourg, num lugar muito tranquilo, com bons restaurantes e estações de metrô próximos. As instalações são bonitas, confortáveis e asseadas, mas houve um vacilo operacional incompreensível: o ar condicionado do quarto estava regulado num “módulo econômico” (detalhe: depois descobrimos que não somente no nosso quarto) que o desligava ao longo da noite, obrigando-me a levantar para religá-lo durante a noite, isto numa semana com temperaturas ambientes chegando a 35 graus - o problema só foi resolvido em nossa última noite.
E o café da manhã continua excelente.

I usually stay in airbnbs when visiting Paris but due to the heat wave, I opted for a hotel for the air conditioning. I had a great experience at Bonsoir Madame and would definitely stay again. The location is excellent, the hotel is quiet and quaint, and my room was spotless. I could only book a standard room, due to the last minute reservation, and though it was small, it was well-appointed and thoughtfully designed. The staff was STELLAR - so friendly, warm, and helpful in every possible way. The hotel has a small gym which was perfect for my needs and I loved the "honesty bar" where you could grab a glass of wine or another cocktail and write down what you had. Overall, I highly recommend Bonsoir Madame to anyone visiting Paris.

Good location. The room was clean and well appointed. Very comfortable beds and a great shower. And Evelyn at the front desk was really friendly and helpful.

Overall the experience was good, I would rate 3.5/5.0

On the good site: The AC in our room worked well during our stay (worth noting that 19ºC is the lowest temp, in case it matters). It's a tiny room but cozy - I recommend ear plugs to sleep because it's an old construction and you can hear footsteps at times. The shower was excellent. Location is good, it's a pretty quite neighbourhood and you have easy access to the Luxembourg garden, metro stations and some good cafes/patisseries.

On the not so good side: The breakfast wasn't bad, but it was underwhelming. Our previous stay was in Brussels where we had a phenomenal breakfast buffet. The one provided by Bonsoir Madame was very very limited: you get 3 types of cheeses and cold cuts, scrambled eggs, yogurt, 2 pastries and 3 types of bread and they only serve espresso-based drinks. It does the job but for a 4-star hotel it was very disappointing, we had way higher expectations. We had trouble with the AC only in the first night, asked for a fan and we were given a pretty dirty one that we had to clean ourselves. Not a big deal again, but again, it's supposed to be a 4-star hotel.

Incredible location in the 6th. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Our room was magnifique! We plan to absolutely come back to Bonsoir Madame. We could not be happier. 😊

Lovely room with everything we needed, just a little on the small size. Excellent location near to the beautiful Jardin de Luxembourg and a good distance to walk to the Seine and many landmarks (20 mins) and plenty of metro stations within a few minutes walk. Also plenty of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets within 5-10 mins of hotel.

Beautiful decor and great location. Very clean and cosy. Allowed us to store bags all day and to wait in the lounge and use facilities until we caught ours evening train. Very appreciated.
