This is the second time we have stayed with La Regent. Such a fantastic location and friendly/helpful hosts makes this our go to hotel when staying in Paris
Nothing
It was much more modern than I expected. The room was tiny but had everything I needed.
Fantastic location. So many restaurants and cafes to choose from. The neighborhood has a great energy. But, it’s not loud at night at all. It’s close to a bunch of Metro stations so it’s simple to get just about anywhere in the city. The staff is so friendly, kind and helpful. We loved our experience.

Location was great. Staff were friendly and professional
BED BUGS! On our first morning we noticed a small bug crawling on the duvet. When we inspected the mattress it seemed fine but then we noticed an infestation on the wallpaper near the ceiling. We decided to leave the hotel. The staff were understanding and we got a refund. However the experience was still rather stressful and we had to bin some of our belongings and take other measures to make sure we didn’t bring the bed bugs home.

Cleanliness, comfy beds, super shower, friendly staff, but most of all, the superb location.
Room was a bit on the small side but manageable. It would be really nice if there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I asked for a kettle and mugs, which were happily given to us, but you are expected to buy your own tea, coffee, milk and sugar. Not a deal breaker at all, but it would be nicer if it was provided.

The woman during check in ask me to fill and sign physically a form for police office. And she insist that its a routine and must. I know we are obliged to show a valid ID while most of the hotels didnt if we use bookings. Most of the hotels I believe inform the police or so about the people accomodating. But ask and insist to fill a form for police office and ask to sign physically is first time ı see in France which ı travel much for years. Anyway ı sign. Allas after we chech out on time in the morning and move to St Malo. At night, I have been inform from my bank that a suspicious attemp to take money from my credit card from regents hotel. And it had been refused. Thanks for my banks security rules.
So unkind reception staff, suspicious attemp to my credit card. Moreover breakfast is a disaster. One slice of ham and one slice of carrefour cheese and tea 15 euro. So expensive even for Paris. The hotel is dated in general too.
