Prima hotel om Parijs te ontdekken
Pros:

Ik had niet al te hoge verwachtingen dus kon het alleen maar meevallen. Kamer was zoals je mag verwachten voor Parijse begrippen (aan de kleine kant), vriendelijk personeel, het was schoon, goed bed en badkamer was klein maar met een goede douche, ontbijt was voldoende. De hele dag door kan je gratis koffie en thee pakken. Het was een prettige thuisbasis om Parijs te ontdekken met Garde du Nord op ca. 10 minuten lopen en een aantal metrostations in de omgeving (allemaal op ca. 10 minuten lopen).

Cons:

Het is allemaal petit, kleine lift (2 pers.) smalle gangetjes etc. Ze doen zich voor als een eco-hotel, de kamer wordt om de 3 dagen schoongemaakt (dus in ons geval 3 nachten = geen schoonmaak), toiletpapier moet je zelf bij de balie ophalen en schone handdoeken moet je zelf om vragen die vervolgens niet of incompleet gebracht worden. Ik weet niet in hoeverre dit bijdraagt aan het eco gevoel als je bij het ontbijt veel glazen minipotjes met jam, pasta, sausjes, yoghurt etc. ziet wat juist bijdraagt aan meer afval. Het 10 arrondissement staat niet bekend als een van de betere buurten, maar wij hebben gemerkt dat als je gebruik maakt van de metro's op stations Poissonniere en Gare du Nord je weinig last hebt van de bedelaars etc. Bij Barbes-Rochechourt hangen meer ongure types rond.

Pros:

Tucked away in a quiet street but in close proximity to Gare du Nord, cafés and restaurant.

Cons:

The suite is a double room in need of a fresh lick of paint. Breakfast was underwhelming. Despite having the tiniest elevator, we had no help from staff with the luggage, so multiple trips were needed. The spa doesn't exist.

PARIS EN FAMILIA
Pros:

Personal amable, muy buena ubicación, limpieza, café e infusiones gratis 24h, zona tranquila y silenciosa, desayuno con zumo de naranja natural recién exprimido.

Cons:

Único ascensor y con capacidad para sólo 2 personas, comodidad del sofá cama y almohadas, desayuno sin fruta (sólo manzana) ni tomate, ensalada, etc.

Pros:

De locatie. Vlakbij gare du nord. 5 minuten lopen. Daardoor ook makkelijk met de metro te reizen.

Cons:

Vreemd dat er niet dagelijks op de kamer werd schoongemaakt.
