Time for a refresh - how disappointing.
Cons:

We have stayed at the Albe for many years when in Paris. The AC was barely working. The room was worn and when I showed pictures to the front desk, she moved us to another room. The headboard in the original room was scratched and the lights were mismatched. There was black mold in the bathroom. Overall, very disappointing. Chipped pain was in the room and in the hallways. Pictures were crooked on the walls. Time for a refresh!

Very cool.
Pros:

Wonderful old building. Nice breakfast. Good A/C. Close to train station. Lots of stores and restaurants near by.

Hôtel très calme, avec la climatisation, ce qui a été appréciable par temps de canicule. Personnel très agréable, chambre avec tout ce qu'il faut, petit-déjeuner buffet suffisant. A mi-chemin entre la gare de Lyon et le métro Bastille, idéal pour se déplacer...
