The pictures were very deceiving, it made the room seem larger. There was almost no floor space on the first level with the 2 single beds taking up the space. The spiral stairs to the second level were damaged and unsafe. The loft ceiling was only 5 ft high except in the far corner. There was also no airconditioning, there were a few fans, but not enough plugs to operate them. We only stayed one night and then found somewhere else to stay despite the stay being non refundable

This hotel is within quick walking distance to the Metro and near the terrific walking boulevard to enjoy the best of being in Paris. The room itself is pretty basic (no wall hangings) and the usual Parisian small, but we were comfortable. We were able to use the elevator. The staff family were very friendly and attentive to our questions and needs and great to get to know. They will collect your room key when you go out each time and return it when you get back. While we were there, there was a movie being filmed right outside and we had to go around at times to not disturb the footage.

This place needs major updating work.
Staff are kind and helpful, but the room was cramped, gloomy, noisy and had a bathroom which was very downmarket.

The hotel refused to provide heat for the room. Extremely cold.

Television did not work properly

Shower broken.

Sleeping area was up a set of stairs: extremely inconvenient.

The price was really low for Paris but we had booked a room with two single beds and we got a double bed and the cleanliness was not great.

Hotel Media located really convinient to all interesting places in Paris and we was treated there like a family!

Nice place, easy to find when get out from undergraund. Good condition, nice and friendly people work there.

The only good thing about this hotel was the proximity to the subway and bus stop. And the woman at the front desk was very nice. Other than that, it was pretty disappointing. The halls are tiny, dark and dingy. The musk of old carpets hits you as soon as you get off the elevator. The room was also tiny and in desperate need of an upgrade and a good carpet shampoo. I’d never suggest anyone I like to book a stay here

Great location a very short walk from metro, bus, restaurants, grocery, pharmacy. Also within walking distance (or a short ride, depending on health) of a park and a charming pedestrian-only row of restaurants with various cuisines.

Rooms are large. Elevator is great help. Hosts of this boutique hotel (18 rooms, I think) are very friendly and helpful. Refrigerator in room.

The owners are kind and helpful, they make their guests feel welcome. The accommodations are as expected for the price and location.

Very nice people with no dramas, clean room in a good area within a block and a half from the metro. All that you need in Paris if you are traveling to see the city. Elevator, warm water and WiFi.

The staff are welcoming and accomodating as soon as you walk through the door. As my flight arrived well before check in the offer of secure luggage storage made it easy to explore the city for the morning.
The room itself was clean and the bed ridiculously comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to any traveller not wanting to spend a fortune on accomodation but wanting easy transport access to the city.

Bed was wonderful, as were the proprietors. The shower curtain didn't extend all the way around the tub, and that meant you had to be careful when using the shower. But just be careful, and you're fine. With the window open a bit on a lovely late-autumn Paris night, it was a wonderful place to get all my Zzzs.

Terrible bed. Was rock hard, and sloped so badly a bag, for example, slid straight off the bed. No towel some days, no soap some days, just a poor experience.

The hotel is well situated and is in close proximity to the metro. The surrounding area is very lively.
However, the room itself is not very clean, doesn't look like it's ever been swept, it is very dusty and the beds have bugs. The maids almost always forget(or neglect ?) to make the bed and replace the towels. The bathroom windows are transparent. Hot water is a problem in the upper floors - you're sure to waste around 5 minutes of running water before actually getting hot water. Be very careful not to leave your things lying in the room when you go out - the maids do not hesitate to look into your stuff and take whatever they want and the hotel takes no responsibility. The only advantages are that it's a cheap hotel and it is well situated.

Worst hotel ever ..... it should be rated less then zero star

Excellent value.. It was very quiet and close to everything. The metro was only 2 minutes walk away as was the bus stop for the Gare de Lyon. I had a front room which was very light and I think it was the quietest small hotel that I have stayed at in Paris, no noise from outside (or inside) at all. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. I slept like a log. Would highly recommend. The hot water took a bit long to warm up for the shower but that was OK.
