INTRUSION/UNSAFE
Day 1 - a woman walked into my room without knocking. I yelled, "No!" She closed the door. I contacted the Reception Desk and was told the maid/housekeeping entered the room because I checked in early.
Day 4 - a man walked into my room without knocking. I yelled "NO" and he walked out of the room. I followed him into the hallway to ask, "Who are you? Why did you enter my room without knocking?" He motioned to his face/ear to indicate he did not understand English. Then he pointed to the white bucket he had with him to indicate his reason for entering my room without knocking.
I went to the Reception desk and spoke with Shieim (manager), who informed me that the man who entered my room told her he knocked on my door and then entered. It is interesting that he pretended he DID NOT understand my questions in English. But was eager to run to the Manager to provide his LIES about entering my room without knocking.
I repeatedly told Shieim (Manager) the hotel employee DID NOT knock before entering. I was scared for my safety. Moreover, what if, I was in the shower? What if I was undressed?
The manager asked me, "What do you want me to do?"I told the manager check the video footage and you will see your employee entered my room without knocking. The manager said the Director will look at the video footage, and she would call or email me. I was appalled by the manager lack of concern for me, my privacy and SAFETY. At no point, did Shieim (manager) apologize for the incident. She showed no regard for guest safety.
Later, another manager enters my room with maid service. She wanted to plead the case of the man who entered my room. Telling me she's worked their 25 years, and he's been there 20 years. He's a good guy.
She tried to convince me that he did knock. That I didn't hear him knocking because I was in the shower. When I informed her that I was not in the shower.
