Das Hôtel Castex liegt im kulturell lebendigen Stadtteil Marais.
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage. - Nur wenige Gehminuten von der Métro-Station Place de la Bastille weg mit sämtlichen Métro. und Busanschlüssen. Sogar auch der Bahnhof Paris-Gare-de-Lyon liegt in gut bewältigbarer Fussdistanz (1.3 km - knapp 20 Min.).

Affordable with great location
Pros:

Great location near a metro station! Air conditionioning worked, which was nice in a heatwave. Nice neighborhood with good shops and restaurants in a walking distance. Staff was friendly. Quite affordable stay!

Cons:

First night we noticed the bedframe was broken, it got fixed the next day. Shower curtain was quite short, so after every shower the bathroom floor was flooding. Cleaning could have been better, some nooks were very dusty. The biggest problem was the bedbugs in our room, which we noticed roaming at the bed and in bathroom after the first night. Because of that, we had a stressful homecoming. Every clothing item, shoes, luggage and makeup brushes etc. had to be washed and freezed to avoid spreading the bugs to our homes.

Perfecte ligging. Proper. Ontbijt ok als je er niet teveel van verwacht.

Cons:

Kamer met 0 wifi. Melding aan desk; dit bleek te kloppen dat sommige kamers geen tot weinig wifi hebben. Dit is een zeer groot minpunt.

Pros:

Emplacement idéal, à proximité de la place de la Bastille et de la place des Vosges, à 20 ln de Notre Dame et 30 mn du palais du Louvres. Vous pouvez partir explorer les principaux sites touristiques à pied. De nombreux restaurants et bars sont à côté de l'hôtel, le quartier est sûr et calme.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner est très peu fourni, la propreté des chambres laisse à désirer (nombreux cheveux collés le long du rebord des lits), les murs auraient besoins d'un coup de rafraîchissement.
