Charming hotel with a perfect location and a local feel
Pros:

We had a very pleasant stay at Castex Hotel. The location is truly a big advantage – it’s within walking distance of many of Paris’s main attractions, making it easy to get around without much planning.
The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which really contributed to a positive experience. The room was perfectly OK for the price and met our expectations.

One thing we especially appreciated was the surrounding area. It felt genuine and lively, with many restaurants and pubs frequented mostly by locals rather than tourists. This gave us a more authentic Paris experience and made the evenings particularly enjoyable.

Cons:

The room was on the smaller side, but we had been informed of this in advance, so it wasn’t a surprise. However, it did get quite warm in the room at night, which affected the comfort somewhat.

Overall, a good stay with ok value for money, especially thanks to the location and the friendly staff.

Pros:

L emplacement de l hôtel ( rue calme- la proximité de la bouche du métro -quartier très sympa)
La gentillesse et l accueil à la réception
À notre disposition : un petit frigo-un coffre fort -grande literie - salle de bain petite mais pratique
Une surprise offerte nous attendait dans la chambre une bouteille de vin rouge avec tire- bouchon et 2 verres..merci !

Cons:

Un peu vieillot… mériterait un coup de peinture dans la chambre et les escaliers de secours - une prise électrique qui sortait du mur…
Un petit déjeuner continental : rien d exceptionnel…

Hôtel à l'emplacement idéal, parfait pour 1 nuit.
Pros:

L'emplacement de l'établissement est parfait, le personnel est charmant. Service bagagerie nous a bien dépanné.

Cons:

Bémol pour l'étroitesse de la chambre, la chaleur était peu supportable malgré un mois de février. Une prise de fonctionnait pas, pas de prise dans la salle de bainn. Le petit dejeuner est très basique et restreint.

Piipahdus eteläisessä Marais'ssa
Pros:

Erinomainen sijainti eteläisessä Marais'ssa, lähellä Bastiljin aukiota ja Seinen saaria. Äskettäin remontoitu kylpyhuone kylpyammeella. Huoneessa leveähkö sänky ja minibaari. Hotelli oli miellyttävä yllätys. Olimme vain yhden yön. mutta hotellissa olisi viihtynyt myös pidempään.
